My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights with our 2 children (10,3) for a family wedding near by. We received a very warm welcome when we arrived even though it was quite late. The staff were very accommodating with my daughters medical and dietary needs, ensuring were able to provide what she needed. The room was very clean,... More

On arrival, greeted with an envelope sellotaped to the door, one among many. Room was clean and we'll presented with double bed, single wardrobe and a table. Had to squeeze down passed the wardrobe and walk sideways down either side of the bed to get into it. The en-suite was clean and looked good if you kept your eyes above... More

We are sorry that on this occasion we failed to meet your expectations. Our Room 6 is described as "Double-classic-En suite- garden view-small room" and is charged accordingly, and certainly does meet minimum standards. It was a shame that on this busy bank holiday weekend we did not have a spare room, as we would have happily moved you. From... More

The room was great for our two-night stay with very plush furnishings, a comfortable bed with crisp linen, clean en suite with power shower, ideal. A pot of tea was made as soon as we arrived. Very friendly hosts, nothing was too much trouble. An early morning breakfast was quickly organised for our fishing trip the next day. In the... More

Extremely comfortable bed, room had everything required, nice en suite. Well-designed shutters on all windows. Fantastic breakfasts! Ideal distance from Christchurch Priory, which was my base for this holiday. Parking space was another plus. Hospitable staff.

My father and I stayed at the Grosvenor Lodge for 1 night, after a family get together in the local area. We were impressed with the level of service and kindness of the staff from the very beginning, as the owner’s mother offered to collect us from the station upon our arrival in Bournemouth. All of the staff that we... More

I would like to thank the team at Grosvenor Lodge Hotel for a fantastic stay. A family feel, and welcoming smile, and nothing is to much trouble. Fantastic facilities, clean throughout, and a breakfast to feed the largest of appetites. If I every find myself back in Christchurch, nowhere else would be an option. Whether for one night, or longer... More

Very welcoming, Nick helped us as in recommending where to eat! Our room was small but very comfortable it has everything you need, even an extra touch with 2 bath robes! Sadly we didn't try the breakfast as we had an early flight out of Bournemouth, but we were offered a continental breakfast! Above and beyond on customer service! Will... More

Went to Christchurch for a concert at Regent Centre for BLAKE - a crossover group from United Kingdom, they are similar to Il Divo or Collabro. Found this guesthouse on Expedia and based on the great reviews that was on there, I choose the place and I found it just like as mentioned on Expedia website. The guesthouse is walkable... More

3 of us stayed in a family room for 1 night. Upon arrival our door key was in an envelope stuck to the door which was a little unusual so we just let ourselves in as stated in the letter. Lovely and clean reception area and so was the room. Fairly small for the 3 of us but still nicely... More

I am basing this review on our room only. I cannot speak for other rooms. The room, on the ground floor, is classed as a superior room. The room itself was lovely, but we didn't feel that it lived up to its superior title. The disappointment was the shower room which was extremely small. We are fairly slim so the... More
