Our visit to the hotel was for pleasure. The check in was swift with information that was helpful. The room was at the front of the hotel with a great view of the canal and the pub garden next door, this was ok but in the evenings the noise from the pub garden was a bit loud, especially as we...

We know this hotel well, but usually eat rather than stay, however staying was a real pleasure. We had booked fairly last minute and had a 'standard double' booked. There was no mention of a 'canal or garden view' so we didn't know what to expect. Our check-in was friendly, welcoming and efficient (as was check-out) and we were shown...

We had visited this hotel when passing through Bude on a previous visit to Cornwall. Decided to have a look through the door and were met by pleasant and friendly reception staff who made us feel welcome and offered to show us around if we wished. We took the up on the offer and decided there and then we would...

We held Mum's 80th birthday "tea party" at the Falcon Hotel conservatory and gardens recently. Superb advice, food, service and support... Big thanks to Debbie and her team for going the extra mile to make it a special afternoon. Mum was delighted....and then spent the next few days taking many calls from her guests, all of whom commented on "what...

This hotel is great, room was brilliant, staff excellent, the whole place was so clean it sparked, bar food was delicious. It sounds faultless but I had two complaints. I use a wheelchair and the only disabled toilet is hidden through function rooms and through several sets of heavy double doors so I could not get to toilet on my...

Went on the off chance for an evening meal, they had a wedding in progress, which seemed very well organised, even so they found us a table straight away and the waiter/waitress gave excellent service considering how busy the kitchen, must have been and the meal it's self was excellent and very well priced would recommend.

This Hotel has a great location beside the canal, in the centre of town. Full of ambiance, with comfortable, spacious rooms. The staff were helpful and courteous, and breakfast was excellent with a large menu to choose from.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Overlooking the historic Bude Canal, with lovely walled gardens and just a short walk to the beaches and shops, the Falcon Hotel has a most attractive location. Established in 1798, it still retains that old world charm and atmosphere. The bedrooms are very well appointed, and have flat screen televisions with freeview and Sky.
