Welcome to New Park Manor, a luxury family and dog friendly spa hotel in the New Forest. Relax in our spa, play croquet on the lawn, enjoy afternoon tea on the terrace or some family time in our gardens. New Park Manor offers the perfect destination for anyone wishing to explore and appreciate the unique mosaic of woodland, heathland and wetland that comprise the ancient landscape of the New Forest. The New Forest, Britain's most popular national park, was created by William the Conqueror in 1079 as a royal hunting area. In 1611, King Charles II chose New Park Manor as his favourite hunting lodge and his royal coat of arms is still displayed prominently above the fireplace in our award-winning Stag Restaurant. New Park Manor was carefully adapted for use as a country house hotel with 25 bedrooms and opened in 1970. Interesting details such as acorns and oak leaf patterned doors and original furniture and fireplaces can still be seen throughout the building. These commemorate the debt owed by King Charles to the oak tree which hid him from Cromwell's men on his escape to France in 1651. Today, New Park Manor is a beautiful, stylish country hotel, where the traditions of days gone by still live on and many original features can still be seen around the hotel. Bedrooms range from the splendor of our Muntjac our signature Family Suite to the contemporary style of our Forest rooms. Over recent years, our facilities have expanded to include a heated outdoor pool, croquet lawn, and our award-winning Spa which included a heated indoor pool and outdoor Canadian hot tub overlooking the New Forest.

We have been twice and will be returning again, there is so much to do for children they never get bored and the food is delicious. The children cinema room, library and creche is fantastic, my boys really enjoyed feeding their pet rabbit in the garden. The staff are very friendly and useful, Donna the lady who called me weeks after we left - as she remember we lost an item of clothing. I was very impressed she remember and another member of staff post it back to us very quickly. The pool look a little tired but the steam and sauna rooms are great to use still.

I had high expectations of this hotel and sadly it fell short. It was very tired and unloved. Scuffed walls, frayed carpets, water marks on the ceiling in the main lounge which looked to be from a significant flood.. We had a 2 bedroom family suite (on the top floor in the eaves), Not the best location for a family given you have to climb multiple sets of stairs. Also the ceiling was a major issue, as on 3 occasions we hit our heads on the eaves as they are in main thoroughfare of the room(s). The room was cleaned daily but sadly not to a high standard, very basic. The beds still looked very crumpled. The whole hotel just felt like it needed a deep clean and to be updated. The pool/spa area was great, nice and quiet, pool lovely and warm, but again it didn't feel as clean as it could. I noticed a plaster on the side of the pool that was there for the duration of our 3 night stay!! It has such potential, as the setting is incredible - it just lets itself down with the cleanliness and the state of fixtures and fittings. The staff were all very friendly so I can't fault that, but for the price they charged, I expected a lot more. I will be back to the New Forest as it is beautiful with so much to see and do, but sadly I wont be revisiting New Park Manor.

We went as a big group of 6 adults, 2 three year olds and a 5 month old. All the staff: front desk, restaurant, spa, crèche and maintenance were all so lovely and helpful. We had a brilliant time! We used the indoor and outdoor pools, (booked slots due to distancing rules) the crèche 2-3 sessions per child, not to mention the grounds. It’s just really well thought out, the games room is just off the main eating area and so our children had entertainment whilst food was getting ready. It all felt safe and the children really loved being able to move around with some independence. There was even a decent sized open room on the first floor for reading and board games. What really impressed me was the stand alone space by the ground floor toilets for a baby change area, and a food and sterilising station directly opposite. Like I said, it was extremely well thought out, such touches bring a sigh of relief and add to the enjoyment and ease of the holiday. The grounds and forest walks were great too! Seeing horses out back was a highlight for the children. We were also lucky enough to see what seemed like hundreds of deer run across the fields at the back, whilst enjoying a fantastic breakfast. The food was great, service again: super helpful. Rooms were nicely decorated and very clean. I’ve recommended this hotel to all my friends but to those especially with little children. Thank you to all at NPM who made our stay so memorable and we hope to see you again in the future xxx
