Had a week in this lovely riverside apartment. Beautiful views and a 10 min walk from the tarka trail. The place is well equipped and within walking distance of bideford although very dark on the roads at night! Peaceful serene setting ideal for bird watching or kayaking if it takes your fancy.

We stayed in the apartment overlooking the river the view from the window was lovely .You could easily sit and watch the tide roll in and out again or the cows feeding on the hill on the opposite side of the river. Had a lovely time at Riverside Cottage, Donna and Simon were very welcoming. Room was lovely, breakfast was great, as were the cakes and cream tea. Lovely location right on the river, would have liked to have a go in the Kayak, but didn't have time. Would most definitely stay here again.

Sometimes you are lucky to stumble on something you are counting down the days to visit again. Riverside Cottage was one of them. Location on the river is a stunner, sat on the balcony watching the river come in while enjoying a glass of wine on a warm September evening fantastic. Complementary cream tea on arrival, brilliant touch. We had...
