From the minute we walked in the door we were made very welcome, like we were long lost friends. The room had everything you needed and the bed was so comfy you didn't want to get out. Breakfast was first class, with plenty of choice. We spent New Year's Eve there and loved every minute. You couldn't wish for kinder...

My wife booked this hotel for me, while I traveled down the motorway! So didn't know what to expect - I got:- warm friendly welcome; lovely clean room; comfortable airy room(5) great breakfast. What more could I ask for? The owners were really lovely and made me feel "at home" which was nice, not. Wing at my own house. Very...

Just returned from a one night stay with my sister who was over from Ireland and have to say this lovely hotel was excellent. We were given a twin room with Tudor style decor and the beds were the most comfortable beds we have slept in. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent, the location was very...

Great location and lovely couple who went above and beyond to house us after we had been disappointed with another booking in a place nearby. They managed to squeeze us in for our needed 2 nights and nothing was a bother. Couldn't fault the place overall and location was fantastic. We will definitely be back and recommend them highly x

The owners were really friendly and the whole place had a lovely vibe. This is now definitely our go to hotel for visiting the area. Looking forward to going back...

We fancied something for lunch one Saturday afternoon and popped into Tudor Rose, it was next to empty and decided to stay for lunch, waitress was very pleasant and friendly. We opted for sandwiches, chips and tea. The bill was a tad more than expected at £23, but as its a nice spot and the quality of the food was...

This hotel is close to the city center and ideally placed for business or pleasure. The staff are excellent, polite and helpful we found the food of excellent quality and reasonably priced. However, the building is over 300 years and is showing it's age.The bedroom was smaller than what we have come to expect and while adequate for a one...

We ate here for the first time this week. My elderly Mother was visiting and after walking round the town she was rather tired and we needed somewhere nearby to eat rather than walk back to our usual choice in Beverley. We were very pleased we did so. I ordered the chicken pie. It was very tasty, full of breast...

We could not have wished for better service. The staff were brilliant, the rooms were lovely, location is absolutely central and Breakfast was great. It's based near the minster and a minutes walk to the Saturday market. Would go back anytime.
