We had a prestige carvan which was nice, only 2 bed but plenty space. Freezing when we arrived but soon wacked on the heating and was toasty. No whisk but every else OK. Swimming pool is freezing! I stayed in 10 mins it was too much, only managed to go in one day out of the weekend it was too cold. Fish n chip van on site, frozen mc cain chips I saw the box. They only sell fish n chips, it's gross. Waste of money I couldn't eat them. Saw lots of bags of uneaten chips around the entertainment too, dont do it. Papa John pizza is on site. Had a hot drink in the bar, cost over £6 for 2, but was ok. Round cost over the tenna! Bring your own drinks in the entertainment no one checks. Soft play says under 5s only but its full of big kids who don't care there are little ones playing, no one from haven tells them to get out. Arcades are ok. Grounds are nice, big park so be prepared to walk!

Our 3rd visit to this site and our worst cleanliness experience of our caravan. This was suppose to be a dog friendly deluxe which wasn’t very deluxe . The caravan hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly on arrival which we had reported on the Haven app. It smelt strongly of bleach but hadn’t been cleaned properly, whether this is because the cleaners aren’t given enough time or this is how they think it is cleaned. The floors especially around the edges were filthy, carpets were definitely not hoovered, floors had been mopped without being hoovered or brushed properly . There were cobwebs in corners and on walls in the lounge area which were very visible. Hairs in the bathroom and toilet. Food crumbs and pieces of paper between seating area seat cushions. The duvet covers didn’t fit the duvet so the bottom of duvet was exposed about 18inches too short, no mattress or pillow protectors . The tv wasn’t fixed securely to the wall so was loose and at an angle. The utensil drawer front was hanging off, the seating was thread bare in places, the shower room window blind didn’t work so no privacy when using the toilet or shower. We stayed in the Ascot area where the caravans are packed in so close together you can hear people in the other caravans if they’re talking , walking in they’re vans. Even though this was a dog friendly caravan we still expected it to be a lot better . Our dog is a black coated non shedder so we weren’t happy to be picking white dogs hairs off our clothes which hadn’t been cleaned up . This caravan also had a sticker inside on the wall saying it wasn’t used for dogs which is really bad as someone with an allergy could be really ill if they were put in there for their holiday. I took the sticker off the wall. Haven you really need to up your game with the cleaning and maintenance of caravans . We did enjoy our holiday as we only used it as a base to explore the area and didn’t use any of the facilities.

The caravan was well equipped, large fridge, oven, extractor, hob, dishwasher, 40 inch HD TV, a Bluetooth music system, decent Wi-Fi, shower cubicle, gas central heating and hot water. That's where it stops. Apart from the lounge diner space everything was very small. The master bedroom en-suite was completely pointless. You have to leave the door open and approach the loo sideways and shoehorn yourself down onto the seat. The TV didn't work. The twin room had two 2 foot 6 beds in it with a 6 inch gap between them. The caravan itself wobbled when anyone moved in it. All windows overlooked the windows of other caravans and you could hear the goings on within them late at night. Moving outside, there was the David Bellamy Climate Change Denier nature walk with plenty of gulls, rooks, jackdaws and magpies. But there was rubbish everywhere!!! One night we went to the 'Entertainment Centre' where two of us were verbally abused by some obese bloke for standing in between him and the stage despite us being in a walkway. All the time there was an air of something about to kick off any second. One afternoon after the bingo, two grown men holding occupied push chairs loudly squared up to each other in the main entrance using colourful language in front of their families while security stood about watching. A few of the staff seemed to have an attitude problem. Perhaps they think that their sarcastic after-comments aren't noticed. We left a day early because the checkout time of 10am is just stupid. The bar and kiosk staff wore masks. No-one else did. Ending on a plus there was an on site Co-op that had most of what we needed and there are a handful of good eateries tucked away off the beaten track.

I recently stayed at the resort (18th - 22nd October 2021) in0 caravan 78 on the West Lawn. This is a wheelchair enabled caravan, and was specifically allocated to me as I am an amputee confined to a wheelchair. Despite what I was told, this was far from being a wheelchair accessible caravan. The nearest car parking space to the caravan was a good 30ft from the front door, and that was when we could park in the nearest spot. There was no allocated parking, nor was there any disabled parking outside the disabled caravan. The path leading to the caravan's ramp also had a massive crack in which I was catapulted forward out of my chair. As for the top of the ramp, if I was not with my carer and family, I would have had trouble opening the door towards me while on the ramp, and closing it would have been even harder. Upon entering the caravan, the lip at the bottom of the door proved to be challenging. The overall appearance of the inside was clean and simple, and there was enough space for me to move around the main living space in my wheelchair. Entering the master bedroom sometimes caused a problem with the second bed being right in front of the door, but after learning the right angle, posed little difficulty. The bathroom had the tightest of doorways to get through in the wheelchair, with a large lip to rival that of the front door. After having to hop the front wheels of the wheelchair over the lip, pulling myself in resulted in either hitting the sink or trying to make a tight 90 degree turn which then bangs the handles of the wheelchair into the plastic walls, possibly causing unknown damage. The shower curtain also did not move along the full length of the rail so the wheelchair was not protected from water while the shower was in use. As for your facilities, I ended up waiting 10 minutes outside your only disabled toilet to find out it was being used not by another disabled person, but a security guard. The arrangement of tables and chairs in the Live Lounge was also not agreeable to a wheelchair user, and the lighting was very poor. The service from staff at the Mash and Barrel were beyond untrained. On our first day we decided to pop in for some hot drinks after a long drive down, only to sit in an almost empty room for 10 minutes, with at least 4 members of staff behind the bar, before someone coming by to offer a menu. This was then made worse by watching our drinks sit on the bar going cold for 5 minutes before being brought over. On a later visit in the week we had booked a table for dinner. After waiting 20 minutes to be offered drinks, or for our order to be taken, once we did order our starters were delivered without cutlery or napkins. After this, we were asked by two separate people if we were ready for our mains, but left our dishes from the starters on our table. When the mains arrived our dishes from the starters were removed but we were still without cutlery or napkins. We had to ask for cutlery, then ask again for napkins, and ask a third time for salt, pepper and sauces. This was also a quiet night for customers, with staff spending time chatting to people instead of clearing empty tables, or collecting dishes and glasses that started piling up on our table.
