Had this break as a gift, upgraded to sea view which was well worth doing. Was aware of the very mixed reviews and wanted to be open minded. Had four poster bed room, this was a fine and comfortable room. Duvet smaller than what we were used to but I tend to sleep with the duvet off anyway so not...

We stayed here during May and booked in last minute as the rating seemed fair upon first glance. The receptionists were welcoming, but honestly the room we had was simply not worth the amount we paid. The bathroom was cabin style, but more importantly the beds were the worst we'd ever slept in! They were dirty and the pillows were...

We planned a two night stay at the Richmoor Hotel as we were given a Buyagift voucher for Christmas from our son.We chose this hotel as we planned to visit relatives who live in Portland, First impression on arrival wasn't the best. After booking in we was told our room had been refurbished and was in the Annex which is...

I stayed here 5 nights for work. If I was paying for this hotel with my own money I would have walked out. When I turned up I was told the restaurant was shut for the first 3 nights, which is fine because there is a huge selection of lovely restaurants in Weymouth so this didn't effect me. What did...

It's a mix bag review as we found the service friendly and quite eficient. The room was a bit small with a double bed and bathroom. Shower good but awkwardly designed. Not a good view from our window. Breakfast ok but not special/ This place is ok to stay at and I like the idea of a parking permit to...

We stayed here for 2 nights the staff were friendly, but our room G4 which was on the ground floor at the back was way to hot even with the small window open and temperatures outside being 6 degrees. The room was small and the so called en- suite was like a cupboard. As it was all so tightly packed...

I stayed at the Richmoor Hotel last night with my two elderly disabled parents. I was given a free upgrade to a sea view room to be next to my parents which was really helpful. The lift was immediately outside of our rooms which made it easier to aid them, not having to wander through long corridors. Our rooms were...

The room was in fact too hot in April, in the summer it must be unbearable. It was a very cramped family room for £136 for the night including breakfast for 2 adults, the bathroom was tiny and smelled bad and the shower won the award of the worst shower I have experienced in any hotel anywhere, including in Africa...

We enjoyed our stay at the Richmoor for two nights during Easter break. The owner and staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The full English breakfast was excellent and my daughter and I loved their veggie sausages. They had a family disco on of the nights and their DJ was very entertaining. Hotel location is also excellent - on...
