As the title implies, we booked this hotel thinking it was part of the range of nationwide inns. To our horror, it was nothing like the chain hotels and we wondered how many people were duped into staying in this 1950s, dilapidated place.

Firstly the positives
1) The view is fantastic, directly opposite the beach.
2) A five minute walk to the town centre (although a bit shabby looking now)
3) A lovely comfy bed
4) Freshly cooked breakfast, Very tasty and cooked to order
5) Unobtrusive landlady/landlord....More
I stayed here for a week in September. I could tell that it was very well run as all of the staff were friendly and happy. Made my stay even better. Great breakfast from helpful staff. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
