Just got back from a weeks camping here, it was ok but I wasn't blown away. Before we went we had looked at their website and read the site rules which seemed very strict so we were looking forwards to a quiet week on a...More

Thanks for your comments. We apologize if other customers made your stay less enjoyable than you would have liked. The park is patrolled regularly at night and anyone considered to be making too much noise is reminded verbally that they may be disturbing other customers....More

We've just got back from a long weekend and to be honest there's nothing majorly wrong with this site but there's also nothing too great about it either. Good points were the size of the pitches which were well sheltered and level, along with a...More

We visited WestFleet with friends and had a great time. The pitches are large and flat and the shower and toilet blocks are very clean even in the height of the season. We used the old shower block to avoid the crowds and this was...More

Just returned from a week at this site and I would not recommend it! We only chose this site for the HEATED swimming pool - well it is cold so don't bother. I raised this with staff and was told that 27 degrees is the...More

The swimming pool at West Fleet is heated in two ways, by a gas boiler and an eco-friendly heat exchanger. At the time of this visit the pool was operating at 27.5 degrees Centigrade. The recommended safe MAXIMUM temperature for a pool of this type...More

Sorry I was just a visitor myself and didn’t have an extra shelter, that being said yes I believe there is.

Thanks for reply re: two sites query but there is no way to respond to your reply within three months (Trip advisor please note as this system doesn't allow for discourse between the two parties and seems very restricting). However, your website is not clear that the two sites are run by the same person or we would have chosen Fleet over Sea Barn. As a customer, you only really use a company's website and not other literature and though there is one reference to customers being able to use the other facilities which are ten minutes away, it is not explicit. But we paid the £5 and moved. Also, you say the hot water issue was professionally addressed. It was not when we were there and friends who have returned last night said it was still extremely hot. This really should be sorted as I stated, someone will get hurt. Was it professionally addressed upon another customers complaint or after mine?! PS. Your response to the customer who invited guests to the site was extraordinarily unprofessional and sadly typifies many of the reviews that nearly prevented us going to your site.

Thanks for your comments. Trip Advisor's policies and set up is, clearly, a matter for them. With regard to the operation of the parks by the same owners, this is not uncommon with accommodation providers of all sorts and... More
