Good position for beach , harbour and pavilion. very clean, efficient and friendly staff. Food basic but well prepared, presented and tasty. Good bar prices. Suit older ages but nothing wrong with that. Send visit and v happy to go again .

Lovely staff and perfect spot for a night out in Weymouth. The hotel however is very dated and could do with some Tlc. Rooms varied greatly in size and decor and we're very hot and stuffy. However the breakfast this morning was lovely and the bar food looked good too.

Was looking to stay in Weymouth for the night, and remember staying at the Crown many years ago. Pleased to say the place is still doing well.Great public bar, nice bar with entertainment and lovely breakfast served in the morning. All staff were very friendly and helpful, and you really can't beat the position. Right in the heart of the...

Lunch in the hotel restaurant. Excellent selection of daily specials. Homemade type entrees and desserts. Large tasty portions at a low price. Fish pie with vegetables was delicious. Many seniors having meals. Friendly waitress service. Clean and quiet. Full bar next to dinning or separate dining room.

As on previous visits we had excellent attention from all the staff, food excellent, rooms clean and tidy (although a bit dated), We had to cut our stay short due to a family bereavement and the staff were so helpful and understanding - needless to say we have already booked for our next visit!

I was disappointed, and do not write many bad reviews, but sadly this is one. For me, the bed is the most important thing for any hotel. The bed in room 75 was absolutely appalling; gently passing your hand over that mattress you could feel every spring, I had to request several pillows to sleep on. The shower was impossible;...

We stayed here for one night - it was £100 B&B, I thought that was very expensive. I think you pay for the location. It is close to everything. I think the hotel is really geared up for the older clientele with us probably being the youngest people there. I didn't see any young families or other younger couples. The...

Good quality food at reasonable prices. Unfortunately only one real ale but that was the best pint of Doom Bar I've had. Can get a bit crowded in high season, but that has to be expected as it is a popular watering hole

We were looking for a hotel that catered for people with mobility issues, we were not disappointed. A good quality lift was available and the staff went out of their way to cater for every need. The bars and entertainment were first class, although lacking a TV lounge, as I wanted to watch the Euro soccer matches. We only booked...

The hotel is situated in the middle of the town and next to the harbour, which is ideal for shopping and eating out. The hotel is clean with excellent food and service, clean rooms and polite staff. The rooms could do with an update but all round it was great value for the money
