I was visiting the University on business. From the minute I walked in you could feel the customer service culture was very good and very natural. Every team member from reception to the team that we’re looking after the bar and restaurant. I’m sitting here writing this after my breakfast. Again a really friendly and genuine environment. I felt compelled to write this review. I managed a customer service driven environment for many years and I know the work that goes on behind the scenes to keep what you have worked hard to achieve. Well done to all. I’m glad I joined Bonvoy. I will be back 100%. Have a good day.

Visiting my daughter at the nearby university. Room was pristine, bed was super comfy and clean. Starbucks located at the lobby-staff helpful, would stay again in the future. Buses nearby-located inside Keele University Campus

We stayed here for two nights at the end of January. The hotel is clean, comfortable and well equipped. The meal we had in the restaurant was delicious. The significant downside for us was when we went to the bar to celebrate my wife's 26th birthday, they refused to serve us alcohol saying that my wife looked underage, we had to return to our room feeling awkward and embarrassed.

Bright,clean, comfortable modern rooms. Fully equipped with tea/coffee making facilities. Hairdryer and iron included. Great shower with toiletries provided. Tv with good selection of channels. Excellent breakfast. Restaurant food was great. Above all, the service was impeccable. This hotel has a very comfortable and cosy atmosphere with staff who are really friendly and helpful. From reception to restaurant and bar staff, this hotel made our short stay very enjoyable. As we were visiting the university, our stay was not overnight. But due to arriving early and having a late night flight from Manchester, we were able to avail of a room with an early morning check-in and evening checkout. This has to be one of the best hotel stays both for value for money and the wonderful staff - from an extremely friendly and efficient welcome on the front desk to the fantastic service by the waiters (James I think) who could not do enough for us. I give all the staff 10/10 for being friendly, helpful and making the whole family feel so welcome.

Room itself was fine, what you’d expect for a hotel of its age. Breakfast was an absolute shambles, no hot breakfast except beans 1 tomato and a boiled bacon slice. “On its way” 20 minutes later asked for the manager “chefs just putting it out” . . . . Left after 30 minutes, hungry. I’d of expected better for the price we paid

Comfortable, clean room and bathroom. Cool glass walls separating bathroom. Plenty of room to spread out. Breakfast and dinner were excellent in hotel restaurant. Front desk staff were wonderful and helpful! Enjoyed our stay and will be coming back.

Very good hotel with most of the facilities you would need on your room. Comfortable bed but only one chair. Breakfast was OK but some of the bar tables were set and the chairs at them were far too low to eat at. Parking £3 per night. Things have changed in the 51 years since I first attended the University!

Comfy and clean rooms. Great staff team throughout the hotel. Good breakfast and evening meal and delicious cocktails. Will be back when visiting the university. Loads of parking and interesting walks nearby. Good base if visiting family or friends at the university.
