Stayed one night. We pulled up out side, which was an awkward side road. They offered a parking service in their car park. This was £20/night. They actually just parked the car in an open air car park up the road. This was barrier protected. Our room was a bit shabby and not cleaned properly. We found an empty bottle...

stayed here with my wife for 2 nights at the end of January and had a 'feature' double room that over-looked the lake - a view that would be hard to beat Room was very spacious and well laid out - though only had a walk in shower and not the option of a bath as well (as is stated...

Yes this hotel is set in a fantastic place, with stunning views over the lake. First impressions are great when you walk into the front hall and see the lovely seating in the bar area. But here I must stop - we'd a "feature room" that needed a lick of paint or at least the scuff marks rubbed off the...

My wife's parents bought us a night away at this hotel as a Christmas present. It's located right in the centre of Bowness, so very convenient for all the local shops and restaurants. The staff were excellent, from the valet parking to reception. Our room was fine. It was quite spacious, with a nice bathroom and a smallish window from...

Our stay here was absolutely perfect. Staff very pleasant, we stayed in an executive room with a balcony view over the lake (see pics below). The hotel was extremely clean and we would certainly return. I would recommend this hotel, its location is perfect!

the location could not be better, overlooking the lake. Stayed here one night in January. The room was basic but nice however the furniture was rather tired and dated. There were dirty marks on the walls and a lick of paint would improve this greatly. The bathroom was modern and clean. The staff were lovely. The hotel was very quiet,...

Called in on a chilly Thursday evening for a quick drink after a lovely walk. We ordered 2 drinks in the lounge overlooking the lake. The lounge is very comfortable although beginning to look a little shabby. The two drinks were given to us by a very pleasant young man. We asked for the bill & this is what spoilt...

We stayed here for 3 nights in February. The hotel is in a great location, right on the lake, and our room gave us lovely views across the lake. Breakfast was very well cooked on all days and the service was as you would expect. Evening service at the bar was a little less good on the one evening we...

Booked feature room spa break £260 for one night with treatment each...hotel lovely but dated..great location..staff pleasant..menu limited although breakfast good. Major let down was the cold pool, filled with screaming kids bombing and splashing guests who have paid a fair sum of money to relax and unwind! The idea of a spa break. It's not Butlins. One idea would...

Dear moocowx, Thank you for your kind comments regarding the hotel's location, staff and breakfast. I have discussed your comments regarding the children's use of the pool area with the team at the Leisure Club itself who no doubt will make some "adjustments" in the near future.
