An old hotel, creaky floor boards which add to the charm of the public areas. Stayed in a feature room with views over the lake. Modern bathroom (shower only so ask if you want a bath), very comfortable bed. Good cooked breakfast and large buffet. Excellent location and whilst there is limited onsite parking, it is £20 a day. There...

Excellent location with beautiful views over looking the lake. The £20 per night parking charge was a surprise as it was not mentioned on our spa booking. The car park is actually about a 10 minute walk away so don't leave anything that you might need in your car although the staff do get your car very quickly if needed....

Visited the spa as we were staying at a nearby hotel which offered this hotels spa facilities included in its price. There was confusion with the changing rooms which were obviously been changed around. The men's had a make shift sign on saying women's changing rooms and visa versa with the women's. This meant the "new" women's changing rooms had...

Dear Hayley M, I have read your comments and have taken them on board accordingly. As we had to do maintenance works accordingly we had to "change around" the facilities accordingly for one day only and obviously as a member of the facilities the gentleman automatically walked into the changing rooms he is used to go in to. I can...

Dear Frankie C, Thank you for your kind comments regarding your treatments and Spa Therapist Jordan, which I will share with her accordingly. Lovely location but ruined by excessive charges and poor parking facilities! No help offered to unload car whilst outside the hotel awaiting 'valet' parkiing. Bar prices excessive as were costs for dining in the hotel. Fortunately there were excellent restaurants in the immediate vicinity at a third of the hotel prices! 20 pounds a night for parking! I rest my...

Had a lovely overnight stay. Hotel has perfect location on shores of the lake with lovely views esp from the bar terrace. Our room was an executive twin. Beds amazingly comfortable. Beautiful view of the lake too. Sparkling clean bathroom with walk in shower. We spent a few hours on the lawn with drinks right on the shore. Afternoon tea...
