My friends and I have just enjoyed 3 nights at Lindeth Fell Country House. The accommodation is excellent, the house and gardens are very special and Sheena and her team are wonderful hosts. Nothing is too much trouble for them to ensure you enjoy every aspect of your stay. Attention to detail is outstanding. Breakfast is served in a lovely...

A really beautiful setting, not far from the town center. Building is old yet modernized and kept very clean and comfortable. The staff are excellent, warm and welcoming. Breakfast was a treat with a great variety to choose from. The grounds are huge and very well kept especially the tarn area which is a delight to sit by and enjoy...

It was so peaceful in this place, having afternoon tea after we arrived, then sunday lunch, rooms are clean to an excellent standard, people were always on hand if you required something or wanted to know how to go somewhere as well. Could not fault the place at all, we especially liked the peacefulness and walking in the gardens. Also...

Very pleasant people (owners and staff), most welcoming and attentive. Excellent building and facilities; comfortable and clean. Good food, and good location - easy to reach from the motorways (but drive gently through the villages - well kept, but narrow roads). Will definitely return.

I found this accommodation to be very convenient for driving weekend in the Lakeland/Cumbria/Richmond region. After 220 fun miles it offered a blend of personalisation, refinement and elegance that befitted the occasion perfectly! Greeted with cream teas in the bar lounge area we settled in very nicely and were made to feel most welcome. The passion for both the region...

What an absolute amazing hotel from the staff to the rooms and the surroundings. Nothing was too much trouble and the sherry tipple was a nice touch. With it being my first time in the Lakes I will definitely be back and have no hesitation in staying again at the Lindeth Fell Ricky

My husband and I stayed here for just 1 night but we were so impressed. The drive up to the hotel was beautiful, we even saw a deer wandering in the grounds. (It brought a tear as I love these beautiful animals). We were greeted straight away and personally shown around the lounges and restaurant and once registered we were...
