We love Storrs Hall. It may not be up there with the top 5* but it is on a journey and getting there. We stay here on our way north from SE England to Scotland and the location in this respect is perfect. Secondly it is a hotel which takes doggies, and in fact loves dogs. But if you don't...

From the moment of arrival at reception we received, friendly, professional service. We spent the first night in a lodge, they are great for a family or couples sharing. We could not have asked for a better experience at Storrs Hall. The hotel is a beautiful historic mansion with many cosy lounges to relax in or play games beside a roaring fire. We were welcomed on our arrival with an upgrade to the junior suite, which was a very well decorated room with a huge bathroom and wonderful amenities....

had a lovely afternoon over looking the lake. 7 of us went. Friendly professional welcome. Lovely sandwiches and interesting desserts. Will come back again when visiting the in laws. Did not see the bedrooms but lounge and dining room was nice. A wedding was taking place. Nice gardens

Spent last 2 days,at my nephews wedding,this hotel is magical,the staff are so pleasant and the rooms and views are best ever,had the time of my life ,the food was excellent,it is situated on the side of Windermere lake so lots of wild life to view,we seen two grey squirrels,was magical,thankyou Ryhs and Jodie,we had the best time ever
