Basic but clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Location is OK but no other amenities on site. Good if you like pizza as there is a takeaway the other side of the car park, Other restaurants are 10 minute walk or a car ride away.

Very comfortable one night stay. It was exactly what you want in terms of staff friendliness/helpfulness, room comfort/cleanliness. The only downer was the lack of a restaurant for breakfast in the morning. I had to go down the road to ASDA where I got a good breakfast.

Excellent value for money to stay here. Was delighted to find the room had a bath not just a shower - old school but after a run :D happy days. Only sad part was when I left a seagull swooped down and collected a duckling walking with its family across the carpark. It was nice and peaceful that nature could...

I have stayed in many Travelodges and this is by far the best! The staff go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need, they give advise on the beautiful Lake District and where to walk! There are geese, goslings and ducks out the front of the hotel....so lovely!

Stayed at the Barrow and Furness Travelodge on 16.4.17, it was the worst Travelodge I stayed in, the bed was uncomfortable (especially the pillows) and noises from next door, banging at night until the early hours. I will not be using Travelodge ever again.

Lots of things need improving, bed was uncomfortable, dripping gutting outside window, burn marks on netting by window, dirty marks on walls next to the bed. No fridge in room, bottom of bath was filthy!

The single beds provided had very hard mattresses. I had an aching back in the morning and a restless sleep. If it wasn't for the uncomfortable mattresses the stay would have been a pleasurable experience.

We thought the Hotel was clean, staff lovely and room comfortable - really good value for money - will definitely stay here again when we are next in the area. Everything was as hoped for on a short stay away
