Just spent two nights here, recieved a very warm welcome staff are extremely friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Meal portions are very large, service at meals times is excellent, fabulous gardens. Would recommend this place for a short break all round couldn't fault it .

Stayed here for one night. Food was excellent and the staff were lovely however our room was tiny. The pressure of the water was terrible as the rainfall shower was trickling out and the smaller shower head was the same. Would return for the food but wouldn't stay again

When you see a hotel which has large HOTEL sign on the side of it, you know you've booked somewhere tacky. Was once probably a lovely old hall, but seems to have become unloved. Run down. Shabby. The reception area and main entrance is small and disappointing. Not always manned The restaurant and lounge area seems to have an identity...

Attended my nephews wedding event here with wife and two twenty something offspring. Very well organised. Plenty of staff who were all helpful and friendly. Lots of different areas both inside in the bar, lounge or conservatory and outside in the extensive gardens. Never had to wait to be served at the bar, food was delightful both at afternoon and...

From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and inviting. Our room (twin overlooking the garden) was lovely, clean and airy. The whole place was very well looked after and the bar area/lounge/conservatory area were all spacious and comfortable which made them a delight to sit in. Altogether a very relaxing stay and we would both return again.

Normally it would not be necessary to book but on this occasion there was another large celebration party in full swing when we arrived. The lunch menu is quite interesting but customers have to order at the bar. We were kept waiting for our food...
