We found this hotel on booking.com and being reasonably reviewed we booked it , our welcome was pleasant enough , and the location was great , I should have read the notes about the restaurant as we found that it shut on a Sunday and Monday 😳, we had a really bad nite as the people above our room were...

Warm, welcoming, friendly staff. The room was on the small side but very comfortable and it had everything we needed including tea/coffee making facilities, fresh clean towels and handy hairdryer. Tucked away made it nice and quiet, was only up the road from the great Italian we booked a table for two at. Lovely dining room, pretty garden.

Great breakfast, comfy room and friendly managed, I rested well in the comfy bed and would highly recommend this individual place. It's also walkable to the center which is wonderful. The cathedral, university and castle are a must see.

Arrived at Farley Tower very late last night after a dreadful train journey lasting 7 hours. Arrived around 1130 and although the reception was unattended there was a welcome letter addressed to me and a room key. Would recommend room 12. Disappointed to find no bar or restaurant at the end of a bad journey but the room was very...

We pulled up at this lovely looking hotel and were very impressed with the building. Fabulous entrance and beautiful stonework and windows. Gorgeous large double room at the front with double aspect windows, lovely and light. Great to have a proper full size bath as well as the shower. It would have been nice to be on the other side...

We have just spent the weeken here and the mantra for the weekend in Room 6 became mind the step and mind your head. The bedroom was small the bed almost touching the radiator on one side with the other up against the wardrobe. The bathroom could not have been smaller A main concern was arriving back on Saturday afternoon...

It's always hard to find a hotel that ticks all the boxes but when I came across Farnley Tower I thought I had. Nothing is free in this world so to advertise parking free, breakfast free, WiFi free I thought you mean included in the price. I liked the pictures and the idea of an old Victorian building that was...
