Stayed in Room 5 for six nights in mid-November. I had no experience of odours from the WC or shower. Double and single bed both comfortable and we both slept well. Room was warm and clean with plenty of space in the wardrobe and cupboards. Breakfast - served at exactly the time we wanted - was hearty and delicious. Refills...

I stayed here with my daughter for a single night. We were allocated room 5 which was a twin room. The size of the room was good, beds very comfortable and the heating was on so it was cosy. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk was plentiful. The downside was that there was quite a strong odour in the room, coming...

I have been coming to this B&B for about 20 yrs. Jenny and Les are the most lovely hosts you could ever wish to meet, we are regularly asked to join them for a glass of wine or something stronger (they provide this most of the time). The rooms are not "dated" but traditional to fit the age of the...

I stayed here for one night whilst on a business trip with a colleague as we had decided to break away from the cookie cutter boring hotels. So glad we did as it was a lovely experience. Our host was extremely welcoming when we arrived quite late in the evening and had recommendations for local eateries for us. Both of...

My fiancée booked two nights as a surprise. We stayed in the stables which was lovely. Jenny and Les were both amiable and the quality of the room and food were inline with the price. Views were gorgeous and the animals on the farm (the lambs, Charlie the Ram, RJ and Gwen) were all as friendly as the hosts. We...

Arrived on Sat evening, welcome was very friendily. The room was lovely with plenty of room. The bathroom was very well designed and had been done very professionally. The bed was lovely and comfortable and the room was warm and a typical farmhouse feel. Slept like babies. Breakfast was hot and catered to ALL needs, nothing was a problem. The...

We stayed at Oakenholt for a night during a break to Wales and would happily return again. The farm is tucked away in a quiet location and boasts a pretty garden. Our room was basic and comfortable, it was quite a small space but not in an uncomfortable way and had a nice view of the garden. The hosts (I'm...

We stayed here on Saturday night between a visit to Chester and Snowdonia. We were in the converted barn, used for S/C folks. Nice warm welcome, the essentials pointed out, then we were left alone with the "any questions, please ask".. perfect ! There's a guide in the room with directions and recommendations to local eateries.. and we were told...
