Easy to find and just about enough parking spots in front of the rooms Receptionist friendly and welcoming Room was clean and tidy Had light bite meal in the restaurant which seemed quick and warmed up as opposed to freshly cooked nut was fine Couple of niggles! Wasn’t told there was an early leave key drop off point which I found myself No curtains on the window and blinds were nit sufficient to darken the room before sunset Kettle, water and biscuits are fine but no tea,coffee or sugar All in all for the price charged I was happy

Incredibly friendly service, starting from the check in (which we were allowed to do early) through to a quick late drink last night and an excellent breakfast this morning. I'd definitely recommend! My only issue was that we couldn't get the TV to work, but this is minor.

Huge thank you to yan , the hotel manager and all his staff for making my sons wedding so wonderful. Yan is hugely professional in his job, and took a huge amount of stress out of the day for us all . The day ran like clockwork, thanks to the staff ! The bridal suite was lovely , huge slipper bath, lovely decor, even a perfect hook to hang the dress. Anyone thinking of booking a wedding, or even just a room I can definitely recommend this hotel

The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff made up for any inadequacies of my stay here. My room was clean but fairly basic - and the decor really tired. Paint peeling badly on the bathroom ceiling - however it was really nice to have an actual bath. The food was tasty but the menu uninspiring. If everything could be improved a little this place could be amazing, it’s in a great position.

Staying at the Flint Mountain Hotel tonight and the food is delicious, very well presented and nice and hot. Staff are lovely and friendly and very attentive. Rooms are basic but clean and tidy. Lots of teas, coffee, milk and sugar on the tray and 2 packets of biscuits. Our room number 3 over looks the golf course, which is a lovely view

I booked a family room for 6 adults and paid weeks in advance through Booking.com. We travelled through the unexpected snow (after checking with the hotel that they were still open) arrived and checked in and as it was our daughters 18th we told her boyfriend (who was also staying, aged 18) to ask her 5 close friends (aged 18) to pop and stay for a drink in the room to surprise her. We took her to lunch and an hour later got a phone call from my daughters boyfriend to say they’d been evicted from the room and threatened with the police. Not only had they been forced out of the room they were made to remove OUR belongings. I was never contacted by the hotel. As you can imagine we were not impressed. We left our lunch and set off back through the snow to find out what had happened. We were told as my daughters boyfriend opened the door they didn’t want them to stay. I explained we were going to be there it was just a surprise Birthday drink. The supervisor then informed me that the hotel had had young people before who trashed the hotel room so young people now can’t stay. I said how that was discrimination as you can’t do that and the room was booked in my name and we’d only gone to lunch. ( My daughters friends all stayed in the bar/restaurant waiting for this to be sorted, the hotel happy to allow them to sit and spend more money there. Plus through this saga we’re never asked once for I.D) the supervisor insisted that the owner refused to let them stay so go. I wasn’t even allowed back in the room. I couldn’t understand how they could do this and threaten us with the police when no one had done anything. Any way to cut a long story short after 4 hours and Booking.com getting involved we weren’t allowed to stay we were offered alternative accommodation by Booking.com 4 hours later as the hotel wanted us to pay £500! in case of a noise complaint. How do you prove a genuine noise complaint? My daughters birthday was ruined. So if you’re over 18, want an alcoholic drink in your room and travel through snow to get to this discriminating hotel…DON’T! Absolutely disgusting and it’s not even a 4 * hotel.…

I stopped for one night with a friend whilst visiting the area. The satnav well tell you arrived at your destination about 400 meters down the road, so if you can’t see the hotel drive a little further and it’ll be there. The check in process was efficient and easy. They have parking available on site, which is free of charge. The room was clean, modern and spacious with comfy beds and soft pillows. The bathroom was lush and it had a walk in shower with good quality shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. The hotel has a reasonably priced bar which also serves food, with friendly servers and music that created the perfect ambience. Overall, a decent night’s sleep and a short drive away from Mold and Flint.

Just wanted to leave a quick review to say thanks for a great stay and a big thanks to wendy for going above and beyond for us to make our stay that bit better. Only one thing I would say is the receptionist should concentrate more on the customer then her phone.

Not quite where the satellite navigation takes you but close, on arrival noticed that there was electric charging point at the bottom of the car park. The hotel was clean and roomy, with reasonable bar and food prices, breakfast was good, room was reasonably priced and spacious, good place to stay
