Great food, very welcoming with friendly staff, quiet location, clean rooms. Ideal for short break. Well positioned for access to the whole island. Incredibly good value for money. Will certainly be back.

We stayed at this hotel for a few days. Don't be off by the title ! We were served breakfast by the owner Jim every morning. , no self service which was a nice change. The decor of the hotel suited the age of the house and though the en suite was small it was nice and clean. The hotel...

Another week on the Isle of Wight with amazing weather and excellent hospitality from Bill and Jackie at the Hambledon. As with our previous visits we were received with a really warm welcome. All staff friendly and welcoming. Facilities first class will definitley be returning. Hotel very quiet. Rooms clean, bright and airy. Garden lovely and well kept plenty with lovely views over the sea.

Our third stay at the Hambledon and still is excellent. Bill and Jackie are so welcoming with a cup of tea or coffee in the lounge on arrival. Food is excellent with wide choices for breakfast and dinners. You always leave the table never feeling hungary!!! Accommodation is very comfortable and very clean. We've just returned from our 5th visit to the Hambledon Hotel & yet again Bill & Jackie have made us so welcome, we took along our 6 year old Grandaughter for her 3rd visit, this is a lovely family run hotel who welcome any age guests. My two cousins and I returned to the Hambledon Hotel, Shanklin, 2 weeks ago. Bill and Jackie who run the hotel made us very welcome. The cooking, which was done by Jackie was excellent.
