Stayed at the Mereside ( a group of three hotels all within a stone’s throw of each other ) for 4 nights during the Manx G.P excellent staff very helpful excellent breakfast and plenty of it ( we had the buffet style full English ) but there are more options that are made fresh for you there and then warm...

Mereside Hotel is very neat & clean. The service is good. The staff are friendly & helpfull. The Hotel has access to a lift which makes it easy for carrying lugguage to our room. Wi-fi is also available, to stay in contact with family and friends. The receptionist Sandy helped to change our reservation without any problems. The Hotel is...

Booked at last minute so lucky to find room. In the Rosslyn and on the top floor. The Rosslyn does not have a lift. Good exercise! Comfortable beds. Adequate ensuite. Top floor rooms are inevitably rather warm but fine. Modern furniture. Good security. Breakfast in Mereside really nice. Great Manx Kipper. Evening meals equally good. You may need to book!...

Just spent three nights here and upon arrival at 10.30 at night, after travelling for 11 hours we were met by the manager in the bar and given a very warm welcome. We had rooms 102, and 106. They were well appointed and clean and comfortable. The hotel is situated just one road back from the prom, and approximately midway...

I stayed in a double room for 4 nights, from Friday 24 to Tuesday 28 June 2016. Prior to booking I had spent a lot of time researching accommodation in Douglas I was looking for a centrally located, mid price hotel/ B and B which had a lift and walk in showers. Surprisingly I found very few places that met...

We stopped here for one night when we landed in the Isle of Man. It was a bit difficult to find in the dark as our tomtom satnav wouldn't work on the island. The hotel it self is 4* and it showed. Well presented and excellent service. Helped with our luggage and being disabled that was a great help. Drinks...

An amazing hotel. The room was lovely. Great faculties for disabled and my accessible room was perfect. What rates this hotel way above others is the way the staff and owners came to my help when I had a minor disaster and my mobility scooter broke. They could not have helped me more. They pushed it (heavy) everywhere, brought me...

Excellent clean room with comfortable bed and all necessary facilities. Pleasant, friendly and helpful staff. First class breakfast with excellent Manx kippers, well cooked, or smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. Lovely toast. Meals (at HQ restaurant, part of the establishments) also top quality. A very enjoyable stay.

Although not looking particularly promising from the outside this was a great b and b. Everything fine with the room, free Wi-Fi and a good evening meal. For us though the highlight was the breakfast. We ordered the scrambled egg and smoked salmon and rather than the usual wafer thin slices of orange fish, there was a chunk of oak...
