Stayed here B&B for a week end of August Very central for shops and restaurants , parking good most of the time . Our room was at side of hotel so not much of a view , but considering it was booked late on , and during the racing , felt we paid a resonable price . Our room was...

Ideally located for the town centre amenities and situated on the promenade. We had a well equipped clean room with a great sea view. And the breakfast that was included in the price was great. The staff are friendly and helpful, and theres even a late night bar downstairs that's ideal for a nightcap before bed. Its was our first...

The Admiral House Hotel was very nice and comfy, everything I needed for a couple of week stay whilst working in the Isle of man. I even upgraded for one night to a executive suit at the front with a sea view which was great !

This is a AA three star hotel. We found it clean and comfortable with tea, coffeee, tv etc and a large en-suite. Good double glazing kept the noise of the perching seagulls out ! Good range for breakfast and the bacon was the nicest I have tasted for a long time. Sausages were too spicy for me. All the usual...

My wife and I went over for 2 nights b/b in the Admiral house Hotel on Loch Promenade Douglas. It is 5 minutes from the boat and it is on the flat. The Hotel is clean and comfortable and the breakfast is great. I would recommend it to anyone.

Liked the location, but it felt really seedy when we checked in. Really run down, musty carpet smell, warn carpets, not attractive, old elevator that worked poorly, and a bit messy. Surprised that room was quite nice, however. Very spacious and seemed very clean. Breakfast was basic and okay. Didn't start till 730. Would have preferred it to be open...

Recent changes since last visit means evening meals not Sunday, served in basement bar/dining area which not ideal for young families. Rooms adequate though servicing erratic in attention to detail. Public area's genrally clean and comfortable.

The room was large and had a sea view. The reception staff were helpful and the hotel is in a good location. The building is pretty clean but tatty in places. The coffee shop is quite good. Breakfast happens in a modern but slightly scarily decorated room, and is fine but not great. Overall a reasonable place to stay but...

First impressions were terrible - the weather was awful, smokers stood at the entrance and there was a very noisy funfair immediately opposite on the promenade. Luckily, it got better! (the fair finished that evening - phew!) Our room on the 3rd floor was large with a lovely sea view, and was adequately furnished and recently refurbished. The bathroom was...

Member of staff on arrival was friendly. I was then left to make my way to my "suite" room 404. The lift goes to the third floor, I then had to go around the corner and up further stairs... With my luggage in tow. On entry to my suite the walls were cracked and carpet filthy - the bathroom reminded...
