Great hotel / B and B, clean and tidy , decent breakfast , Eric the host was a lovely fella. 5 minutes to promenade. If your expediting a boutique experience try somewhere else. If you want a reasonably priced spot to stay it will tick the box .

Highly recommend great host .Eric lovely rooms and easy for Douglas. Breakfast is great. Showers are brilliant. Close to everything you need. Remember in February that the electric and steam railway are both closed. But bus connection to all of island is both cheap and frequent.

Had a lovely weekend in Douglas staying at this gorgeous hotel. Eric was extremely accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic place to stay for a great price. Thanks Eric, I will be back for sure.

Not impressed at all. Stained carpets. Torn curtains. Sour milk in the rooms. Not to mention the tiniest portion of breakfast I've ever seen. Including cheap produce. Was really looking forward to our cooked breakfast and then to recieve one sausage one bacon and a blob of beans with a side of one burnt harsh brown. Stale cereal to follow....

This was definitely an interesting hotel. We visited a week before christmas and have never seen decorations quite like it. From the flashing announcement screen in the window, welcoming you with a repeated 'hello....hello...', to the flashing reindeer and the glowing orange lamps that bathed the dining area....everything was very orange. Our bedroom was just as interesting. At first we...

We had a Lovely hotel room. The room was clean and restocked tea and milk while we were out. Owner was friendly and very helpful. There was a good choice of breakfast with cereals, fruit and cooked breakfast. Was close to the beach and not a far walk to the shops. Very pleasant stay and would stay again ty

Can't fault this hotel on price cleanliness or friendliness. Breakfasts were excellent and owners couldn't do enough for you. Recommended for singles couples and families; although rooms on top floor maybe be bit too much for some.

Let's start with the location, it is really good and only a 10 minute walk from the centre of the promenade. After that it is only another 10-15 minute walk and you are in town. The host Eric, a very nice gentleman who was always very chatty and enthusiastic. The B&B itself was a little tired in places but that...

Eric and his wife are so welcoming and do everything they can to make your stay great, we mentioned we were going to get the steam train and Eric gave us a lift to the station and also waited to make sure it was running (which it wasn't!!) so he took us somewhere else instead! Breakfast was good. Hotel room...
