Seaside hotels are often a bit tired and run down but this place is clean and modern with a friendly welcome.

St. James park is in Newcastle so you'd need to either take the metro or bus to get there. Taxi would be quite expensive. If your driving it'd be about a half hour drive from Whitley Bay.
