#5 of 7 hotels in Blairgowrie
Welcome to the the Angus Hotel & Spa, its is an excellent choice for travellers visiting the Highlands of Scotland and stopping off at Blairgowrie for a few days, the hotel is right in the heart of the the town and faces the the square . The hotel was a born as a traditional coaching inn, and is family owned and managed. The hotel is modern in look and feel inside, yet still has elements of Scottish charm and character. The rooms are smart and have comfy beds and a hot shower, and they have all the amenities you would expect in a 3 star hotel. There is a lift to all floors, and a mix of different room styles, catering for couples to small family groups, not forgetting our newly launched Spa with pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. While you’re in Blairgowrie, be sure to check out some of the cafes, including Cateran Cafe, The Dome Restaurant & Takeaway, and Berties, all of which are a short distance from Angus Hotel. Enjoy your stay in Blairgowrie!

Had an amazing time. The staff were brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us . We were all spoilt. Not only my party of friends but everyone in the hotel . The staff were a pleasure to watch their hospitality was next to none . Ceri; Casper; Graham; Kieron; Callum ; Danielle were superstars and will defo come back . There was a brand new spa which is state of the art . So relaxing and calming . Food was excellent and everything we wanted . I want to say a huge thank you for making our stay truly beautiful. We felt like family ! Angus hotel U have smashed it , love Lorraine xxxxxxxxx

The Angus is perfectly placed for starting and finishing the Cataran Way. The room we stayed in at the beginning of the walk was excellent, however room 136 where we were at the end of the walk was not so good, a lumpy, uncomfortable matress and terrible outlook .Blairgowrie has a good bus service so on our extra day after finishing the walk we caught the bus to Dundee

Just had a 3 night break here. The hotel is ok overall. Wee bit tired in some areas. Rooms ok. Food ok. Service from Casper is exceptional. You need to keep this guy! Staff overall are very friendly and helpful. Good value overall. Will be returning in the future

Initially pleased with hotel; room fine and spacious bathroom. Swimming pool fantastic with sauna & steam room. Disappointed with dinner - the deal we went for was DBB for 2 nights & 3rd night free. Dinner was 2 courses ( starter & main or main & dessert) but only starter & main was available. Dessert was £5. Bruschetta was cold. Sea bass was good but patata bravas was soggy. Too much cheese & bacon on Hunter’s Chicken. Shower was dodgy - shower head uncontrollable. Hopefully things will improve.
