A good variety on the menu though not cheap, and the food was very tasty. Service was too slow, we had to ask for our drinks after around 10-15 minutes, and we waited a lot longer to get our food. We noticed other later diners received their food before we did! We were staying overnight at an adjacent b&b and...

It is gone 12:00 at night and I am actually still staying at this god forsaken place after enduring several hours of loud unrelenting noise. I tried to contact the management and no response. I contacted their sister hotel who said they would contact the management. 10 minutes past and no change. I rang them again and said it should...

Our room was big and clean. Really liked accommodation with dining room, bar and small lounge on the ground floor. Felt homely. We had dinner in the dining room which we really enjoyed. Staff were nice. Wifi access was very poor in our room on the top floor, suggest requesting lower floor if you require it

This hotel was one of the highlights of our trip. We absolutely loved the place. The food was excellent, We had the pizza for dinner and it was prepared like a fancy restaurant. The room was fantastic, the bed was comfortable and the hot shower was great. The staff was friendly, everyone was very helpful and pleasant to talk to....

We arrived on a lovely, hot and sunny Sunday for a relaxing afternoon and overnight stay. There were locals and visitors sitting drinking at the picnic tables out front and this might have been a relaxing idea but for a 1980's Greatest Hits CD being played on repeat pretty loud on a speaker outside. Turns out our room was directly...

The other reviews written don't sound like the place we stayed. We were greeted coldly and rather dismissively by the young woman in reception. Our room, #4, was in terrible condition. Our room was unbearably hot when we arrived and we had to use a trash can to prop open the window. The curtain was torn and the rod was...

Room was in the roof space and was hot and uncomfortable. Three sides of the room had a sloping roof. I cracked my head on one. You could only stand safely in the middle of the room. No curtains and blind was broken. The "receptionist" was rude and unhelpful. If she studied hotel management she must have missed the module...

Had a three night break at the Scott House Hotel. Couldn't fault it. Room spacious, massive bed! Very clean throughout. Food absolutely fantastic WARNING - don't eat for a week before you go! Portions huge! Made very welcome by all staff, nothing too much trouble. Cosy lounge bar and friendly locals were great company.

Really enjoyed our one night stay here. The room was very comfortable with an amazingly effective power shower in the ensuite. We had a deal which included dinner and breakfast. Dinner was very tasty with good range of choice, and the breakfast certainly did not disappoint. For the price we paid, we could not have expected a better experience. Highly...

We just stayed the one night departing at dawn (04:45) to get to the capercaillie watch at nearby RSPB Loch Garten so missed out on breakfast. Nice pint of Belhaven Best and the bar seemed popular with locals which is a good sign.
