We visited the harbour lights twice during our stay at ilfracombe, both times the food was excellent!!! The service was great, friendly and attentive ! Very cute restaurant, and very close to being fine dining, the food and experience as a whole is worth the money in my opinion! Great restaurant !

Second year of staying here with our 5year old granddaughter. Not disappointed. Really nice owners and excellent breakfasts. We had a family room which was fine for our needs.rooms were comfortable and very clean. Very good location and reasonable parking on the marine car park. Excellent!! Hope to return next year.

A first time visitor to Ilfracombe may find this hotel hard to find due to the one-way system but this is a real "hidden" gem. It is moments walk away from the harbour and very handy for the Lundy ferry. Once you are aquainted with Ilfracombe, finding your way around is straightforward and there is a good value long-stay car...

After a horrid experience with our first accommodation choice, we called up the hotel and were greeted with a warm reception. The owners were absolutely lovely and so helpful. They were quite open about the numerous steps to the room and the potential noise from the pub opposite which was helpful. It was my birthday on the Saturday and Ruth...

We arrived at the hotel and was greated with a smile by 'Nick' who was the owners son. He was very helpful and as the hotel doesnt have parking advised us of the best place to park which was in the long stay carpark 5 mins walk away from the hotel. We were put in room '9' which was right...

In case you're wondering why I've given it a title from Cbeebies Seseme Street puppet show; it's because of our 3 year old. This Victorian hotel is nothing like my son has ever stopped in before, and he declared we were stopping at the Furchester Hotel. I'll try to explain.... The positioning of this hotel is perfect. We were retuning...

I found this guest house to be a bit of a curate’s egg. Being positive, breakfast was very good and served in the restaurant, which serves reasonable fare at lunch time and in the evenings at reasonable prices. The owners were more than helpful and friendly and gave the impression that they would help out a guest if they got...

The BEST thing about this place is the owners. They are friendly, helpful and would do anything to make your stay enjoyable. This is so nice to have while on a short holiday break, so thank you for that. The harbour lights also opens as a restuarant in the evening. We have eaten here three times now, and the food...
