We only stayed at the hotel for 2 nights over the bank holiday (Saturday to Monday). The hotel has a very friendly reception / seating area when you arrive and there is always someone there to greet you. You can park out front of one of the houses round the corner so no need to worry about parking. We wanted...

I was on a coach trip from South Wales. The Osborne Hotel is a family run hotel with very friendly staff. My room was clean and comfortable and the food was excellent especially breakfast.....full English. Entertainment in the evenings was very good. Ilfracombe is very interesting to walk around. Plenty of shops and restaurants. Two well kept parks. Boat trips...

I cannot sing the praises highly enough of everyone connected with The Osborne Hotel Ilfracombe. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we walked through the door and were offered tea or coffee as soon as we'd unpacked. There is a varied choice on the menu and the food is well cooked, well presented and delivered by...

Hotel dated , our bedroom still had ceiling tiles from the 60s ( fire hazard ? ) windows were painted shut so wouldn't open condensation pouring down making it smell damp. Hotel staff very good couldn't do enough for you, food was also good. Ifracombe is a dull resort nothing to do and nowhere to go unless you jump on...

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. In answer to your comments regarding your room, we can assure you the ceiling tiles are not from the 60's as you suggest. They are tiles used to create a false ceiling which provide an excellent source of sound proofing to the rooms and are certainly not fire hazards ,...

Excellent hotel really clean and the owners and staff are so friendly. Will definitely return. Our room was really spacious and nicely decorated. Right in the middle of the town so convenient for shops and seafront.

Travelled with my elderly parents. On arriving at the Osbourne we were warmly greeted by Rachel the receptionist.(who makes you a great pot if tea) Our rooms were on second floor but is accessible by lift. The rooms were warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The evening entertainment was much enjoyed by my parents. Breakfast was really good. The waiting staff...

On arriving at the hotel we were greeted with a very warm and friendly welcome. we found our room a bit dated and in need of a refit (hence the 3 rating) the food was delicious and wholesome, I/we could not fault the table service and you did not have to wait for any of the courses to arrive. overall...

Thank you for your review. For the benefit of others reading your review, I feel it only right to explain why the said areas of the hotel were closed to the public. The weekend of your stay, I think the whole country experienced severe and extreme weather conditions. Unfortunately the said weather highlighted an area of the hotel requiring urgent...
