Very well situated in town. Short walk although steep hill to town centre. Bus nearby. Harbour, beaches very close. The hotel is impressive from the outside, inside looks a little dated but it goes with the building. Staff excellent, caring welcoming, take that extra mile to make the stay good. Food abundant and good, entertainment was well above the standard...

Hotel in very good location, could not fault the staff always friendly and happy to help, entertainment was laid on each night which was good. Food was of very good quality and sufficient waitress was very attentive. Unfortunately the rooms do seem tired and the hotel needs updating. As it was a festive break the staff did dress for the occasion...

My partner and his family and I came down to Ilfracombe for a special occasion, we paid £52 for a double room and I must say it was not worth the money at all! Bedrooms are extremely dated! Not a proper duvet on the bed just some used blankets which smelt ever so musky, so I don't know how long...

Dear emily_jharvey, I was sorry to hear that some aspects of your recent stay didn’t live up to expectations. I was a little surprised by your comments regarding the staff as we generally receive positive feedback for all of the staff in the hotel. Having said this, I see that you felt their way of dealing with your problems wasn’t...

Firstly you couldn't ask for more friendly and helpful staff, The reception, Lounges and restaurant were neat and tidy breakfast was fine but these things don't out way the fact that the walls on floor 4 are so thin you can here everything anyone is doing, next door's bathroom was against our headboard and you can even hear them going...

Parking for six cars only. Its a coach trip venue. No WiFi other than in reception we were told but we did manage to get a week signal on the fourth floor. The room was in need of a face lift. It was not the worst location in Ilfracombe
