We invaded The Crescent for a 65th birthday party. Nothing was too much trouble. They even organized the music for the dancing. Very reasonable pricing too. Close to the High Street with shops, cinema, restaurants and clubs.

We arrived at the Crescent in a thunderstorm, and not just any old thunderstorm! The heavens opened, the roads turned to rivers and lightening flashed across the sky. What an awful start to a holiday we thought! Well we shouldn't have worried because we had a wonderful weekend at the Crescent House hotel. Liam greeted us warmly and showed us...

A friendly welcome by the owner who kindly helped with bags and sorting out parking. The room was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of fresh fruit for breakfast but the cooked breakfast was disappointing, the sausage was dull, clearly a 'value' variety, scrambled egg was microwaved, dry and without seasoning and the only coffee available was instant! A coffee...

Just returned from this lovely, clean family run hotel. It was obvious a lot of time & care had been taken with the decor. On arrival the hotel owner, Liam helped with cases & although no parking Liam advised of best car park to use plus small parking area located at rear of hotel, not much space but great as...

“Rooms facing the street can get a bit of noise as revellers make their way around the town; it didn't seem to carry on late into the night but perhaps worth considering if you are a light sleeper or an early bird.”
