Excellent choice of food at breakfast. Booked 2 rooms a double and a twin the shower in the double room was quite small. Hotel could do with updating as the decor is quite drab. Staff very helpful and tentative

Whats good about the Devon Bay Hotel, the Staff who are polite friendly & helpful. Whats bad? The list would be too long, the whole hotel needs completely refurbishing to bring it into the 21st century. It could be made into a very stylish hotel which it must have been once!

While this hotel is noted as a 2 star hotel, it makes up for it in certain ways. Any pittfulls we did have i either didnt mention to the hotel management and wernt too fused about (only 3 functioning tv channels and very weak shower) or were sorted straight away. It was mine and my partners 1 year anniversary, and...

Having read previous reviews I was a little dubious. We had a small double room with newly fitted bathroom. Room was comfy and warm. The view was over the rooftops. Plenty of tea and coffee. Food was okay but nothing special. The hotel definitely needs updating as everything was very tired. Had a pleasant enough stay.

Just returned from 5 day stay with just go coach holiday. Despite reading negative reviews the hotel although in need of much TLC was extremely well run with very helpful staff. The food at breakfast and dinner was always prepared fresh and was served hot by very hard working staff. The rooms were a little old fashioned but always kept...

We were welcomed by friendly staff, our room was warm, cosy, clean with the beverages topped up every day. The food was plentiful and hot, but would suggest a vegetarian option.. The staff were very efficient and friendly.. We were on a Just Go 5 day break and saw a lot of the beautiful county. We would use this hotel...

We have just returned from a 5 day break with Just Go Holidays to Devon Bay Hotel. Firstly the journey to and from was excellent. Chris the driver could not do enough for us and tried to accommodate everyone's wishes with the not so pleasant weather. Had lovely trips around Devon and Cornwall but most of us were not very...

Lovely friendly staff but hotel looks tired and in need of work. Food left a lot to be desired. Breakfast was usually cold by the time we got it and dinner was random food put on the same plate. Not a lot of veg going on.

Nice room with views towards beach hotel billed as two star which seems rather harsh, caters for coach holidays and absence of parking is a downer. Staff all pleasant and helpful so cost wise difficult to fault. Breakfast was reasonable and cooked to order. A lot of hotels and this was no exception cater for the senior members and yet...
