Definitely not what i expected a really tired looking hotel and i was very tired and left after the first night. the bed must have been older than myself (43) the staff were very polite and food ok but could not face a 2nd night. My husband and i are in our forties and we struggled with all the stairs...

Stayed here on a two night Voucher deal. When we booked we're told they only had twin rooms left for the dates we wanted, so we took it. On arrival you find that the hotel car park is so small it holds 5 cars! So we had to find alternative parking on the street. The hotel itself is, to be...

We spent 3 nights at the Grosvenor Hotel. There were 8 steps up to the front door, difficult for taking luggage in. Were told there were only 6 spaces for parking and that these had been taken. Luckily we did manage to squeeze into a space. We had booked a twin room and were given the Belgrave Suite. This had a...

We had a lovely long weekend staying in Grosvenor. It's outlook does put us off a little but the service and the quality makes the difference. I really like the receptionist called Megan. She is always so polite and patient and all staff work extremely hard. This hotel really was a treat to us. We enjoyed our dinner on our...

We visited last year during the floods and so went back again to see the area with better weather. We were lucky this time as the sun shone the whole five days. The hotel is still very good value for money although we felt there wasn't as much choice at dinner time. The food however is good, except for the...

Went for a 2 night B/B break on a Living Social voucher and whilst it was cheap, it was disappointing. Good points - well it was well located - not far from the Landmark Theatre - and the beds were comfortable and also it was very clean. Also they did have a singer to entertain you on the first night...

We booked a four night break with Travelstyle via UKBreakaways. Like some other reviewers, we were a little concerned when we read some of the comments, but all in all we were pretty satisfied. The staff were friendly and couldn't be more helpful to my disabled husband - allowing us to park his scooter in the lobby and making sure...

We returned last week from a break at The Grosvener Hotel which we booked on a Wowcher offer, and can't really complain as you get what you pay for, the staff were all very friendly and helpful and a mixture of age groups, with a coach party as well, and seemed visit the hotel regularly as they all seemed to...
