Despite booking and having confirmation of a ground floor room we were allocated a room on the first floor which caused great discomfort to me as I have difficulty in getting up and down stairs. The owner was most unhelpful having said that he would try to sort something out he did nothing. We were expecting a full english breakfast but realised that only a continental (if you can call it that) breakfast was all that was on offer. There were no cold meats and the only cheese was those little soft cheese triangles. Cereal selection was very poor with only a choice of three. There was no one to make the tea or coffee it was all do it yourself. Basically, take it or leave it. Although the place looked clean a closer inspection found all kinds of debris left around the edges and in the corners of rooms. Our room had a huge double bed squashed into it so tight that there was no room down one side of the bed making it extremely difficult to negotiate. We needed assistance in getting a special form in order for us to travel to our next destination and he charged me £25 for the pleasure of his receptionists help as well as a fee for the FREE parking. The owner of this place is a rip off merchant - he is rude and biligerant and shouldn't be in this business.…
Ahmed is a absolute star and a gentleman beautiful soul 🥰 Nothing was too much trouble Beautiful room amazing host Made me a coffee on arrival and we sat and chatted after my long journey he really has time for his guests More than worth what I payed for the room Amenities so close too
A little dated, but cosy , depending on what you want to pay ,is an ideal location for Gatwick. Parking was extra in the price, and breakfast was included, Reception was managed by Ahmed who was very good, and made sure everything was good for us.
This place is great value for money £63 for three of us including breakfast. We needed somewhere to get our heads down before dropping off my daughter who was returning to Canada. Three easy miles from the airport, clean and comfy rooms an adequate breakfast and very nice owners I will definitely use this place again
we booked to go for 1 night as flight got cancelled we asked for money back as we had asked for free cancelation as was the covid we waited 9 days for refund and owner told us he went to the bank and que was to long so went home !!! in the end we called our bank and got money back ... Owner VERY RUDE told hubby to SHUT UP !!!!! DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL as if you need to cancel he WILL NOT REFUND YOU !!!!
