Situated about 3 houses along from the police station in town center, a good position for Gatwick travellers. Small quiet single glazed room with inclusive breakfast, which, because it was Sunday consisted of pre packed cakes and tea bags. Nice crisp clean bed, small crackly tv, shared bathroom, although hotel was old and tired it was quaint. We came, we...

A comfortable hotel to stop in before an early flight out of UK. Being an old house the walls were a bit think so you could hear people checking out at 4am, but otherwise nothing to complain about :-)

We had an early morning flight to catch from Gatwick so wanted to stay close by but wanted somewhere with more charm than a Travelodge and in an area with a slower pace than the airport. Yew Tree Guest House gave us exactly what we wanted. We checked in mid afternoon and met the owner John - he was friendly...

Good value for money and ideal if you just want a place to stay near Gatwick Airport. Also, the check-in and check-out times allowed for people catching planes at inconvenient times. The centre of Horley, which has a pubs and cafés is a few minutes walk away.

I stayed at Yew Tree Guest House last week for one night on business. With the low price, I wasn't really expecting much. Yew Tree Guest House is a maximum of 5mins in a taxi from Gatwick, which was ideal for the purpose of my trip. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the hotelier John who is a delightfully charming...

A fantastic guest house. Charming decoration which brings you right back into depression. You really feel at home, at least if you have an attic. Continental breakfast is a must see, the fresh yoghurt (and partly opened / damaged) is waiting for you for the last 12 hours in hot temperatures, exactly what is recommended by the World Health Organization...

The worst place I have ever used. Crummy room, grumpy own, awful bathroom (shared) and an in-room so-called "continental breakfast" comprising a packet of biscuits, a carton of blackcurrant drink, 2 cellophane wrapped pastries and an unrefrigerated yoghurt. Avoid this place.

Budget hotel that is convenient 5 min train journey to gatwick. Short 5-10min walk from train station. Room was basic and communal shower was okay. No breakfast but some nice snacks in the room to much on if you're in a hurry and have a flight to catch. This is what you pay for. I would definitely recommend if you're...
