26 Deg. c outside, even hotter in the hotel. No air con/AC in rooms. Lifts were not working. Went for the late check-out upgrade; no wine, 1 bath robe and one pair of slippers. Manky horrible shower curtains. Hotel was so hot could not sleep. Phoned reception for AC unit; non left. Never again....

Stayed for one night with my husband who is disabled. Pouring of rain when we arrived found the car park & was disappointed to find only 1 disabled parking space which was taken. Found a small space & struggled to get mobility scooter out (that's why we need disabled space). No ramp in to main door of hotel - I...

Stayed overnight with my husband and 12yrs old son. We had a family room that had a separate room for my son with bunk beds. The room was spacious and clean. We later went to the pool which had a steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. We never had any spare treatments however they were fairly priced. We ate at the...

So sorry just a 3/5. Bed was rock hard and very uncomfortable, furniture very tired. Lobby and bar area very nicely decorated so assume rest of the place will be done soon. Breakfast very good with super haggis, although it was absolutely boiling in there. Good location for the tourist stuff although I was there for work.

This hotel was created out of an old bording school. It has a neat atmosphere to it and the rooms are adequate. The hotel is located in walking distance to Stirling Castle and downtown area where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. The staff there however were totally indifferent and not very plesant.

This is a large hotel with interesting history. About a 10-15 min walk from train station and 5-10 min to castle, so an affordable and easy location for those traveling by train. The room was disappointing; standard hotel room that needs updating, small window, no view and an adjoining door - could hear people in next room talking. The shower...

We stayed for 2 nights. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the room was clean although maybe a little tired. However, it's an old building so to be expected. Breakfast was delicious and there was plenty to choose from. The hotel was close enough to most places although possibly not ideal if you don't have the ability to manage hills...

The hotel was once a school and there is interesting information about this throughout the hotel. It is undergoing refurbishment at the moment. Our room had been refurbished and was comfortable and clean and of a good size. If anything it was too hot but we could have got a fan from reception if needed. All the staff were very...

A first class hotel right in the heart of Stirling. 600 yards from the castle (all up hill) The staff are excellent, the rooms large and spotless. Its got a great bar and excellent atmosphere. Comments about the staff ,reception in particular of not smiling enough are silly. Do you really want the staff standing there with false painted smiles...
