Stayed her just for one night while visiting family close by, older style hotel with its own charm, staff very friendly and helful. There was a wedding going on in the hotel when we dropped our bags off and it continued in a marquee in the evening so not intrusive for a quiet overnight stay. Gorgeous breakfast cooked to order...

Lovely hotel, exceptionally quiet considering its distance from the A470. A good base to explore the South Wales area. Lovely setting, nice and peaceful and quiet. Room was large and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent though a touch expensive, but saying that, we would stay there again. Staff were helpful and courteous, and the facilities are good.

Such a shame nice place with some great views but badly let down by the restaurant. I thought the service in the restaurant was really poor compared to the excellent service elsewhere in the hotel. Bottle of wine ordered just put on table not even opened had to ask fro glasses then the food. The menu was limited I had...

I stayed here when I picked my son up from university. It's in a lovely location with great views and a great wedding venue by the looks of it. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the afternoon teas were delicious. The staff are helpful and friendly and there's lots of parking. Nice place to stay and I enjoyed sipping...

We stayed one night in this pleasant old hotel.. The room was comfortable, though rather small. The ensuite was well equipped, though be conscious that the overbath shower does not seem to be thermostatically controlled which can lead to the odd cold or hot shock! Lovely views from around the hotel and a great breakfast all added positively.

it'd had been another room except no 5. It's right by the powerful extractor fan from the kitchen and rattled and reverberated from 7 am to midnight. Otherwise - ace! Lovely setting, friendly staff, excellent food, stunning views.

Llechwen Hall Hotel is some way off the beaten track, sitting on top of the moors above the Cynon Valley. However, despite the increased travelling time if your destination is Cardiff,it is a most pleasant alternative to the very ordinary city-centre hotels. The biggest bonus is the food. The head chef, Paul, is a genius, using local ingredients in the...

As you wind up the hill from the A470 it opens up to the grounds of hotel. Lovely 17th century building with a few modern bits i.e. marquee, conservatory-well it is a wedding venue. Enter the main building and it's has that wonderful heritage feel, maintained well in fairness, which can't be easy too. Rooms are excellent value, we stayed...

Last minute booking for weekend away. Lovely room, small but well equipped and nicely decorated. Breakfast was fantastic for choice and quality, though food did not arrive as advertised in menu. Still nice though. Evening meal was lovely with great menu choices. Main dining room lacked atmosphere when we were in there on our own but felt much better as...

On valentine night this year (2017) a young couple booked a meal and overnight accommodation at the Llechwen Hall Hotel. On arriving at the Hotel they found the parking facility quite spacious with plenty of room to manoeuvre. As they entered the building there were a few steps leading down to the restaurant which it appeared to be quite dark...
