Stayed here with my partner & little daughter, we all enjoyed our stay. Large comfortable rooms, excellent bar area, tasty food & one of the best breakfasts ever! What made our stay even better were the excellent staff, very helpful, friendly & professional.

Stayed here with business and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff were excellent, the breakfast and bar area very good and overall I enjoyed my stay. The down sides: There was building work being done, this meant that there was scaffolding against the front (where my room was) and my windows didn't shut properly or lock (obviously part of the...

This hotel is super fun!! Our room was large, with great angles, wonderful lighting and a big soak tub. I was here with my senior mother who has bad knees and there was a lift to our room and everything. The staff was wonderful and the food amazing. I will stay here every time I am in the area.

Booked this cracker of a place to watch Pontypridd play the talksport allstars. Checking in was as smooth as silk with a very helpful receptionist. Got the keys to a lovely appointed room with all mod cons. Breakfast was an extra fiver and worth every penny. Will be back.

Myself and my partner loved the overall look and feel of our room. Could not believe this was in Pontypridd. Huge bed, stunning bathroom and beautiful flooring. We had one of the top floor rooms, it was extremely warm that day but there wasn't any air conditioning or big windows to let air in, although we did find a fan...

My first view of the Blueberry Inn was a bit off putting with neogrecian fittings. However, my room was tastefully furnished and thought had been given to the character of the building with a preserved old beam. The room was spacious and the temperature warm but comfortable. The mattress seemed well chosen. My room had a view over the town...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Blueberry Inn is a unique hotel located in the centre of Pontypridd, South Wales. Owned by the Pontypridd Market Company and formerly known as the Market Tavern, this 5 storey building underwent a drastic overhaul, with refurishments taking up to two years for completion. The Blueberry Inn had a grand re-opening in December 2008 which did not disappoint, worth waiting two years for the Blueberry Inn shocked and amazed with its dramatic makeover, what was once the Market Tavern seemed completely unrecognisible with many finding it hard to believe it was the same building. The Blueberry will blow you away with it's attention to detail and design. All the rooms are fully equipped with all the mod cons and have all the comfort's you would expect from a top end hotel. The building itself is host to a superb bar and restaurant serving a variety of exquisite cuisine, with breakfast available from 7am, lunch specials from 12pm and a la carte from 6pm. Also host to two exceptional function rooms, on the first floor, the kalma lounge, a boudair themed function room that has played host to a variety of events from wedding receptions to charity nights. Down in the basement you will find the Glo bar, the smallest of the two, this ice themed room with built in wall water features is a real favourite for childrens parties. On the whole the Blueberry Inn is a real gem in the heart of the Valleys and worth a visit for whatever the occasion ... more   less
