Third visit, the renovations are still ongoing but there seem to be improvements in some areas. The main change which we were pleased to see was the evening menu in the bar and the "Loft" a very good variety on offer, prices had risen but the food was well worth it. Breakfast was still a bit of a scramble as...

From the car park its quite a nice building, but when you pass the dirty entrance door the interior is sad and gloomy. The hotel is obviously having refurbishment work as there are holes in ceilings and small particles of rubble in the carpet. The bedrooms are dark and gloomy, the breakfast was poor. The bedroom doors are smaller than...

This hotel is such a shame. It is the accommodation for a major draw to the Rhondda and should be a jewel for visitors to Wales. Yet it was a huge let down. Dated, grimy, dark, scuffed, odd chemical smell. There are signs throughout saying an update is in progress but a full refit would've needed to make it appropriate....

Hotel has suffered a major leak, so as you walk the corridor to your room, the ceilings are exposed. Deco on walls and floor in need of a serious upgrade. It is dated. Beds are not that comfortable. Positives are that the rooms are clean. The staff are friendly, clean and presentable. The bar area is clean, tidy and up...

Prior to our most recent visit, we last stayed at the hotel in 2011. This time around, we were on a flying visit to family who live nearby and stayed just one night. We did not use the restaurant for our evening meal and did not visit the bar, so I cannot comment on either. Our beds were very comfortable...

I've been staying at this hotel for many years on and off and if i'm honest the only reason i return is because the reception/bar/restaurant staff make you feel so welcome, the staff here seem to genuinely care and they always remember my name (which is very rare in a budget hotel) When you walk through the door here you...

Arrived at the Heritage Park Hotel sometime around 21:15 in the evening. The lady on reception was charming. Very helpful and chatty, just what was needed after a long day traveling. I checked in and was given my key. Room 123. I arrived at my room having walked past a few posters saying "Hotel under Renovation". My room was spacious...

We were a bit worried what to expect after reading some of the reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised. Yes they are in the middle of updating and yes we could smell paint , but we never heard any noise at all. Our twin room was very clean, nothing to complain about at all plenty of tea, coffee & biscuits....

Stayed here for 1 night check in smooth, room comfortable and spacious breakfast was good lots to choose from staff friendly the only problem was trying to get a drink at the bar as there was a wedding on and was jam packed in bar area but other than that no problems just wished we had brought swimming costumes so we...

Went here for a family meal last week.Very poor quality food at outrageous prices. The staff were helpful and attentive but essentially, the quality of the food was very poor. This was the opinion of all who attended the meal and none of us will be rushing back.
