Enjoy a slice of paradise at our Premier Inn Pickering hotel, we’re just three miles or a five-minute drive from the borders of North York Moors National Park and North Riding Forest Park, perfect for peaceful strolls and weekend hiking trips. We’re just over a mile from the North Yorkshire Moors Railway (Pickering) Station, a refurbished steam railway that goes directly into the heart of the National Park with scenic views and a classically British experience. There’s plenty of other things to do nearby too, we’re very close to Pickering Castle, and Flamingo Land Theme Park and the Eden Camp WW2 Museum are only a short drive away. Our hotel also great links to other towns in Yorkshire like Thirsk, which is close to our other hotels in North Yorkshire. Set yourself up for a great day exploring the moors with a delicious meal at our in-house Thyme restaurant and, after an exciting day strolling through some of the most scenic sights in North Yorkshire look forward to relaxing sleep on one of our super-comfy beds.

Super comfortable twin bedded room. Clean with good wifi and AC. Secure and safe feeling, friendly staff and very convenient for Pickering center. Got early check in which was appreciated, though had to be paid for. Didn’t eat there so can’t comment on the food.

This is a great premier Inn. The rooms are very spacious and modern. The cleanliness is excellent and the staff are always very helpful. We stayed in a premier plus room which was was excellent, definitely worth the upgrade. Looking forward to returning in October.

The Group booking office was the worst experience I have ever had to make a group booking for my Reunion. 2 weeks to respond to emails. In this day and age of technology this is unacceptable. First issue was making the booking which with 2-week response time was difficult. Then the Group booking office informed me to Pay for the weekend directly to the Hotel. The Hotel Manager informed me that the Payment must go to the Group booking office. This went on for weeks. Almost lost the booking as we got very closed to the automatic cancelation date. With a large group there will always be some who can’t make it. With the no refund policy on the rooms we lost the total cost of the rooms. However, we paid for the meal deals and the Hotel stated as the food was not consumed we could have a refund of the meal deals paid for. £274.89 But they stated that I would have to contact Guest Relations for the Refund. When I contacted them they stated that the Hotel Manager was responsible for the refund and that I was to contact him. When I did he again insisted that the Guest Relations who have contact with the Group booking office to arrange the refund. The Group booking office does not give out phone contact detail and only respond to emails every 2 weeks. Again I was directed back to the Hotel Manager. And you guessed it he said to back to the Guest Relations as he has done all he can his side. This back and forth has been going on for 3 Week and I am no nearer to getting the Refund promised. If senior management are reading this, please get me my refund. Case number WHB1790330PIM7 Booking ref BKRR22128 It’s a real shame as the Hotel was well placed for our trip to Eden Camp. All my members were happy with the rooms and food. The Hotel staff could not have done any more for them during our stay. A Special thanks goes to the night staff who looked after my old boys. Also a special thanks to Chloe for trying to make up for all the issues we had making the booking. Also she made a special effort to seat us all together. Thank you.

staff on the accessibility line really listened to our needs and explained what they could do to make our stay possible. They offered a free interconnecting carers room for my husband and I so we could provide night time care for our daughter. She had an accessible room with a wheel in wetroom. Staff moved the bed against a wall and provided elephant feet for us so we could use our mobile hoist. There was plenty of parking, easy level access throughout and ground floor acceessible rooms so no lifts to negotiate.

Clean and cost effective but weirdly prohibitive booking system for the in house restaurant which is sized for about 5% of the residents at most. This is problematic both at breakfast and in the evening. Can't offer more than three stars when it's not possible to even access all the facilities. Staff don't seem to care, 'it's the system'.

The cost of a room should be the same at the front desk as on the Hotel Website, when there are certain rooms available you would not expect to pay more on the internet than at the front desk as in there was a single room available and as i was travelling alone this suited best but on the website the only room shown available was a double room costing a lot more and was not needed for a single traveller.

Third we have been to this hotel and its probably the best premier inn we have stayed in. Excellent hard working and friendly staff .we had great restful stay ,enjoyed the food served both in the evening and at breakfast the next day.it is well situated literally just outside of pickering and only a ten to fifteen walk to the town centre, also well placed to visit North Yorkshire, definitely recommend

Hotel is clean and functional, ok for a one night stay. But we didn’t like the electronic check in upon arrival which is slow and slightly complicated … no staff on duty whatsoever at 9pm until we went and found someone!! You have to book breakfast, but by the time we arrived there were very few slots available. Bed was small. Breakfast was actually fine. Lots of choice. And gluten free choices available to a certain extent (could be better but could be worse). And there was soya milk available. Eggs cooked to request.

Not a good experience. The sheets were stained. The TV controller did not respond to change over quickly. The hot water was luke warm. We were not told that the beddding would not be changed. Room was miles from reception and there was no telephone.

A lovely modern Premier Inn, it is easy to see why it gets booked up quickly. The staff are amazing, helpful and polite. Rooms are modern, clean and well kept..... most importantly, you do get a good night's sleep. The food is very nice, freshly cooked and I have not had a bad meal. Would certainly recommend the Premier Inn and will definitely be back!
