Sad to say extremely disappointed the rooms were not only freezing the decor was from the 1970's ,the showers stayed warm for 30seconds,the toilet made noises all night, the atmosphere was like that of a wake with the bar staff hardly recognising you were there which you needed as the pub was dead more than likely due to the fact it...

As a Pickering resident , i did not need the services of the hotel side of the establishment , having heard good and bad revues of the quality of the food on offer , we decided as a family to give it a try . It is safe to say, it was by far the worst dining experience i have...

My husband and I stayed overnight for a tribute show the owners had organised - Roy Orbison & Elvis. We had a fabulous night out and enjoyed everything about our stay. Comfortable room, very pleasant surroundings within the pub itself, great hosting from Mark and Tracey and a great show in the evening. Oh, and a delicious breakfast to send...

The pub has a limited lunch menu of soup and sandwiches over the lunchtime period. We ordered a BLT and burger and was really surprised to be served a large baguette with home made chips and salad. I had 3 slices of thick bacon and his baguette was stuffed full of beef burgers. The pub clearly needs work, is in...

New owners had just taken over but made us all feel very welcome. Food was good, plenty on plate. Only problem they did not have facility for debit card, but ATM just round corner. Hopefully they have sorted it out now. Will definitely go back

The Station Hotel is a small Inn, right opposite to Pickering Steam Railway Station. We stayed over the 2nd World War weekend, the atmosphere was buzzing. The breakfast was great, the staff warm & friendly. We can't wait to stay again next year

We stayed at the Station Hotel in Pickering in September 2015. We had called in the week previously after a busy day on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR) from Pickering to Whitby return. On our first visit were unsure as to whether the Hotel was open. We now know it certainly was and has had a good refurbishment. It...
