Had 2 nights here with friends. Lovely and clean. Great breakfast and the new owners are lovely. Only down side was our metal bed was very squeaky when ever you rolled over but we were told our friends rooms had wooden beds with memory foam mattresses. Brand new modern bathroom and the best shower I've had. Water pressure was fab....

Had lunch on two separate days. The first day was sandwiches (Ham and Prawn) both tasty, well presented good value. The next day was Sunday lunch. Lamb was perfection, Pork was bland. Roast potatoes hard in the middle, Mash lumpy. Veg bland. Gravy bland. Venue lovely. Staff a credit to the business. Would still recommended a visit

This Inn is in a beautiful location and it is worth a visit even if just to take in the scenery. We called in at mid day looking for a hot pub lunch but we were informed that there would be only sandwiches available. The place wasn't busy considering it was lunchtime with only about half a dozen customers in....

We stayed in Rosedale in August and despite the mixed weather, enjoyed our break. During the 5 days we visited all 3 pubs/restaurant/hotels in Rosedale Abbey and definitely thought the White Horse was the best. Well worth a short walk uphill for the fantastic views.

Called in whilst staying in the area. The inn is more of a food place and hotel, rather than somewhere for a drink. Staff are very friendly, place was clean and had a old world feel to it. Views, as mentioned on previous reviews, are incredible. Cannot comment on the food and as the place was quite, we didn't see...

We enjoyed spending three nights here in July in beautiful weather. Our room was well appointed and the housekeeping excellent with very high quality towels replaced every day. Breakfasts were good, although no kippers or yoghourt, served by friendly staff in the pleasant dining room. Dinners were excellent and can be enjoyed in the bar or restaurant. You can't rely...

We received a really friendly welcome and were immediately shown our room Etc. and made to feel at home. The room was spotlessly clean with a newly refurbished bathroom and all the usual tea/coffee making facilities and bathroom accessories. The hotel is in a stunning setting with views over the Dale and this can be enjoyed from all the public...

We found this place on trip advisor and were looking for a dog friendly bar/restaurant that did a Sunday lunch. Honestly can't have picked a better place. Apparently recently under new management all the staff were friendly and so helpful. The food was fantastic. The apple pie dessert with custard was lovely!! And the views from the place are stunning....
