Cawthorne House in Pickering is one of our favourite Guest Houses to stay. A beautiful old stone building just a short walk from all the facilities and high street shops that Pickering has to offer. Paul and I arrived early and asked if we could leave our car here. It was no problem at all to leave our car at the guest house. Jayne's friendliness continued once we arrived to settle in. 2nd visit and as wonderful as the first, Jayne and Steve greeted us and made us feel very welcome, a real home from home. Room was spotless and comfortable, breakfast was top class, would recommend visiting cawthorne house. Nearly forgot a mention to jayne's parents who helped and a special mention to Betty the dog she's so lovely :)

We could tell on our arrival this B&B was going to be good by the genuine friendly, and helpfull way Jayne and Steve met us in the garden. Jane & Steve are such lovely people and really can't do enough for you, the rooms are immaculate with everything you could want to make you're stay as comfortable as possible. Excellent place to stay. We were greeted with tea and coffee with freshly baked cake and shortbread which was delicious. The room was outstanding with plenty of room and everything there that you need. The bathroom with shower unit was ideal for us. Breakfast was wonderful.
