Booked here for Mother's Day lunch. Just superb. Excellent food, good value with friendly and timely service despite the busy restaurant. It is nice to see fine dining done well. Faultless in every respect. We will be back.

We are informed this hotel has been owned by the same family for the last 114 years and it shows in the attention to detail in every thing they do! We enjoyed a 5 course evening meal prepared to 5 star standards our balcony room had amazing views and this 3 star hotel also has an indoor pool, spar and...

Visited for 3 days last week as we needed a quiet relaxing break. Recommended by a friend who has been to Trefiddian a number of times. We were not disappointed. Lovely position just outside Aberdovey, we opted for a 4th floor sea view room which was spectacular. All staff are to be commended, friendly, professional and always appropriate. 3 lounges,...

This was a last minute 'lets go to wales and stay over' The hotel itself is a little worn and dated in areas, but overall i could not fault a thing! The staff so welcoming, food delicious! The indoors games rooms for our children were fab and the indoor pool lovely! We would most definitely stay again. We had a...

We have recently returned from a 5 night break at this superb hotel. We were in need of a break and some relaxation and that's exactly what we got for the whole time we were there. The reception staff are very welcoming indeed. Our sea view was extraordinary and our room was kept immaculate every day. The food was excellent...

Popped in the Trefedddian for afternoon tea and cake. Picked the warmed buttered Welsh cakes, hoping to relive sitting in my Nain's kitchen and being passed fresh Welsh cakes straight from the griddle. Unfortunately, this did not live up to my memories; not only were the Welsh cakes not warmed but they were not fresh or buttered and the butter...

Just had a two night break with friends at the Trefeddian hotel. With my work over the last ten years stayed at lots of hotels in wales, the Trefeddian is the best. The food and all staff very helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our return to the Trefeddian. Despite the awful weather we had an extremely comfortable and happy time. The food was as excellent as ever and the staff were without exception charming and helpful. Our dog had a happy time too. She has stayed here several times and as before, the other guests and staff all seemed delighted...

We have stayed in this great hotel once or twice a year for many years. This visit, five nights, was better than usual. Visits do rise and fall, however currently: new reception/bar staff are excellent; menus & meals are the best for several years; some musical entertainment once a week is gentle and very Welsh. It caters well for elderly...
