Friendly helpful staff - nothing too much trouble for them. My wife has a dietary issues and they catered for her with no fuss. Great food, warm, clean room and fantastic location. Facilities good with pool, hot tub, snooker and games room / childrens area

How can it be 10.5 degrees, with sun, miles of golden sand, sea like a mill pond, and too warm for a coat in Wales in the middle of January? It is, and it is the middle of January and it is not that unusual on the coast. You can't guarantee the weather, but it is always interesting, even if...

My husband and I accompanied some friends and their sons to the Treffidian for a birthday celebration. We had the delicious 7 course evening meal which consisted of swordfish, king prawns, hake, scallops, sorbets and coffee. The staff were attentive and fun, service was prompt and excellent. After dinner we sat in the dog lounge! With their dog, drank wine...

Having stayed at Trefeddian hotel before it was a pleasure to note that since our last visit a major refurbishment had taken place in bedrooms and lounges. Our room 201 was very comfortable although when booking a twin bedded room it is disappointing to only have 2-2 ft 6 inch wide beds one of which is placed by wall. We should...

We have been going to The Trefeddian hotel for a number of years now and each year we rave about the experience. The welcome by the reception team to the service in the restaurants cannot be faulted. Each year we have a family room (210) and the view across the golf course to the sea is stunning. The family run...

Surprise weekend break booked to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. We arrived on the Friday and straight away we were met by friendly helpful staff. Our room was on the fourth floor but at least there was a lift (albeit a slow one!) and my reaction was WOW. The views over the estuary to Borth out of one window and...

All members of our family from 3months ,through most decades, to 77 were excellently catered for throughout our stay. Our rooms were superb and the dining room coped with the demands of all ages on one long table for the whole family. Full marks

This was the latest in a long line of visits here over many years (occasionally in the self-catering accommodation nearby), and the relaxing feel to this well-run hotel is always a delight, complemented by the staff who were attentive and helpful as always but never intrusive. The 5-course dinner was plentiful and excellent in quality and choice. Special mention must...

We had never stayed in Wales and we booked our September stay with trepidation mainly because of the area's reputation for weather. The Trefeddian was perfect. Spectacular position overlooking Cardigan Bay (pay a little extra and have a sea view; best money I ever spent). The room in common with all parts of the hotel, was beautifully clean and spacious...
