I was at an organised event for about 200 people. It took 25 minutes in our queue to get food as there were too few food servers. There was inadequate organisation to deal with the numbers. The food was look warm by the time I got mine. Food was just Ok. The planning might have been OK for a normal...

We had a room with a wonderful view of the marina and the sea beyond. Room was comfortable and breakfast good. However the hotel is in need of some TLC and the lift is the second slowest in the world! The staff are very friendly and helpful and we generally had a good stay

Stayed here for one night. When we pulled up outside the appearance of the hotel made us wish we had booked elsewhere. Looks run down and next to derelict buildings. However, although the inside is tired it is perfectly acceptable / clean considering the cost paid. Dined in the restaurant at night and had the special wine and dine menu....

Great Hotel for the locality we needed for the few days we were in Bangor. Nice room with a view of the Marine. I can't give it the top rating and here's why: 1. There is a lot of noise to overcome both from outside - Noisy drunks outside at 1am. Guests who insist on letting their bedroom doors slam...

Stayed one night Janice on reception was lovely. Hotel is very clean and room good size, with beautiful view. The dinner was expensive for what you had.. Food to start I had a sickly mushroom with two tiny bite size bits of bacon and leek sauce Gratin which was over £5.00. My husband had a fish cake that sat on...

My partner and I went for a spur of the moment dinner with our parents after a day at Helen's Bay. Bangor and the restaurants surrounding this hotel can be very pricey, the salty dog for instance was on average £20 per main. We found the hotel to be the most reasonably priced in the main walk of the marina....
