As soon as stepping in the front door I was very warmly received by Chris. The room was immaculate and very well decorated with vintage furnishings. The bed was super comfortable and the feather duvet was snuggly. Due to my job I practically live in hotels of various sorts and the breakfast here was by far the best I've had...

As soon as I stepped in the front door it felt like staying with friends, rather than a B&B as I received a very warm welcome. The room was very clean and tidy and exceptionally comfortable and well set out. There was plenty of variety for breakfast and the food was awesome, freshly cooked and tasted delicious! I have stayed...

The Cairn Bay Lodge is a guest house with a difference, from its very clean and quirky decor showing great attention to detail, set in beautiful location giving the 'Home from Home' experience. The owners Jenny and Chris could not have been more hospitable providing a fantastic supper for a large group of us that would beat most restaurants today....

This is more of a boutique hotel than a B&B, refined and quirky at the same time, with great attention to detail. The house is beautiful, and the rooms are cosy and luxurious with lots of extra details. It's a house full of surprises, from the home made cake and extensive DVD library at the top of the stairs, to...

This is a belated review. We enjoyed an overnight mid-July at this beautiful home overlooking Ballyholme Bay. It combined elegance and a lovely warm ambience. Our rear bedroom was very spacious, light and airy with a view of the delightful rear garden. Seating was more than ample and the bathroom provided a luxurious range of handmade toiletries. We enjoyed the...

Just got back from a cold and windy trip to Bangor and just had to say what a wonderful B & B this is. It really is a home from home with super comfy beds, amazing breakfast, friendly owners and wonderful views (from the seaview rooms anyway). The house is so interesting with lots of unique features and lovely touches....

The cairn bay lodge was a last minute decision to see if they had any room. They did and boy! What a surprise! She showed us two rooms to look at, both very charming with very special touches...some I want to incorporate at our house... The breakfast was way beyond good--it was fantastic! Being coffee lovers, we so enjoyed the...

Just back from a short 2 night stay at this fabulous place. We are rather inclined to stay in hotels, particularly those of the 5 star variety - so a B&B was a change for us. Well, as the title may suggest it was nothing short of fabulous! From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like very...
