We had a wonderful evening here for my sons 18th birthday. From booking the evening to serving the food, everything ran so smoothly, the staff could not do enough to accommodate any requests we had. The food was excellent, all home cooked and locally sourced. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming and the Landlord allocated the back room of...

Recommend by a colleague and wasn't disappointed. Rooms are very cosy, although a little tiered, perfectly charming, clean and comfortable. Had evening meal at the pub and was very impressed. With great beers, attentive staff and remarkable value. Would I go again? Absolutely yes!!

Travelling on my own I was a little uneasy entering the bar but the staff were very welcoming, showed me to my room and reserved a table for me in the restaurant. The hotel was very clean, the stairs having recently been decorated. My room was small, but I knew it was only a single room. Having said that, it...

We called in after a long walk and were surprised that it was very busy. We found a table and were welcomed and served promptly. There was a wide variety on the menu so we went for 2 courses at £10.95. It arrived quite quickly despite the fact that it was busy. I had the black pudding with mustard. I...

Stopped here for lunch while staying in the area. Had a lovely lasagna with the freshest salad I have had in a pub. Lovely staff who were happy to chat. Very friendly pub with good food. Highly recommended.

If you're ever in Bollington, you absolutely must stop by this little gem. The service is generally very good and the atmosphere is welcoming. They have a decent selection of largers and Ales to suit most guests. The food, from my experience has always been very good. I have yet to have a poor meal.
