A friend who I was walking with recommended we stay here; so glad he did. The farm setting took me right back to my childhood growing up in Hampshire so I was as happy as a pig in a poke. Two words sum up Goose Green Farm - cosy and homely - qualities the place has in spades and its...

We found this B&B rather last minute but are glad we did. The lady owner is so friendly and this we commented on from the beginning we made our enquiry. We slept very well and the room was comfortable and has all the basics. The views are lovely too as was the breakfast, you can tell the food is of...

This was our second stay at Goose Green Farm. The first visit was for a wedding, the second was with friends to attend a festival. Very relaxing, and the hosts have a genuine warmth from the moment you arrive. We all felt as though we had been there for a couple of days even though we had only there about...

Our stay at Goose Green Farm was lovely. This B&B is ideally situated to the Manchester airport and for exploring the surrounding area. Breakfast was delicious and served in a lovely room. Dyllis and Don are warm and engaging hosts and we enjoyed meeting them very much. We recommend this B&B.

We spent 2 days here before flying out of Manchester Airport to the states. It is out in the country with sheep and cattle farms. Our hosts were very hospitable and told us several places in the area to eat. Room was small but perfect for us and the breakfasts were excellent. Our hosts gave us written directions to the...

I was made feeling at home from the moment I have parked the car. There is even a log fire in the sitting room to help relaxing... I have seen all the rooms as I was the only guest when I arrived on a Sunday evening and I was impressed by the high level of standards even higher than certain...

Dyllis and Don are a super couple with a great sense of humour and made us very welcome. The farm is in a very picturesque area. We had a lovely cosy comfortable bedroom with a great view across the fields. We stayed two nights and enjoyed a delicious cooked breakfast in the mornings. Nothing was too much trouble and it...

We didn't arrive until late on the Friday but was greeted by a lovely lady who showed us around the guest quarters of what is a lovely farm building. The room was tidy and clean and quite frankly I can't think of anything bad to say about our stay!

Our second stay with Dyllis and Don was just as delightful as the first time. The house and farm are lovely. Conveniently located for visits to the Peak District, Maccelsfield and the city of Manchester. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning of our stay. We recommend it without reservation.
