Arrived having walked part of the Pennine Way - very welcoming and friendly. Room was perfect, clean and tidy and had all we needed. Pub meal in the evening, great food and great value. Fabulous breakfast to set us on our way the next day
I was walking the Pennine Way, and stayed in the hostel / bunk house for two nights, both after wet days. It was a separate building which seemed fairly unwelcoming, and the drying room did almost nothing to dry wet clothes and boots. No room...More
Stopped off on way home. Been here a few times although last time was nearly 3yrs ago. Sunday at 1pm and it was busy but service was quick. Food from menu was available as well the blackboard where you could choose Sunday lunch.
