I've just returned from a short stay at the hotel with family and our two dogs. One room had clearly been refurbished to a high standard, whilst the second room was awaiting an update, but was nevertheless clean and offered all the amenities we required. The beds were comfortable and bedding soft. The towels smelled fresh and were replaced daily as required. Both rooms were at the front of the hotel and afforded good views of the seafront and pier. Although there were some issues with the number of staff (the restaurant was closed for evening meals unless a dinner, bed and breakfast booking had been made), those working were helpful and friendly and certainly helped make our stay an enjoyable one. Housekeeping staff worked efficiently and nothing was too much trouble, whilst the bar/restaurant /admin staff remained alert to guest needs whilst multi-tasking. I was particularly impressed by the caring support given to one guest who was unfortunately poorly during her stay. Overall, a great location, good facilities for guests and their dogs, and staff that deserve recognition for their hard work and commitment to making holiday stays so positive for guests.

Having recently returned from a 4 night 5 day stay at this hotel for a bowls tour, I wanted to write a few words about our stay. The hotel itself is in a great location opposite the beach and not far from the Pier. It has a nice big dining room serving freshly prepared food and a small bar which definitely needs updating. Our room was a good size with a modern bathroom and step up shower cubicle. Unfortunately the bed was tiny and if I had to guess, was a small double at best. The staff were very nice and so accommodating to our needs. I requested a fan a few days before our arrival which they arranged for me and they even tumble dried a pair of shorts for me which I needed urgently. In summary, the staff, especially Nicole and her dining room staff were great.

Stayed there for 4 night's/5 days on a bowling tour. September 13-16. 2021. The room (34) was dated, however everything worked just bathroom/decor needed a bit of attention. Must say a special thanks to Nicole (manageress) and Kelly, together with the other young English speaking staff, who became a welcome friendly addition to our group, nothing was too much trouble and they went way beyond the normal previous customer service encountered in other seafront accommodation. All meals were freshly cooked and served hot with a good selection of food. Bar service and selection of drinks was excellent and sensible priced. Look forward to returning there ASAP.

The location is spot on and the parking good if you get there in good time. The room was clean and comfortable despite the general areas needing some attention. The staff were wonderful. Everyone was so helpful. A poor night's sleep though. Ask for a room at the rear or side. Was awoken many times by a loud group singing and swearing until 4. a.m.. I assumed they were outside on the road but may have been within the hotel, I don't know. A shame really.
